Are Kinser's allowed to reproduce the Superman merch from 20+ years ago?

With all the 'retro' stuff that has been popular the last couple of years, I would think a Kinser Superman retro drop would go over well.  I know I'd go for a replica wing panel from that car.

1999: The cars of  nine of the nation's mosrt celebrated champion race drivers were unveiled with the spectacular Superman-themed  paint//wrap in NYC Central Park. The famous superhero drivers were paired with the "faster than a speeding bullet" (Superman) ----- DC comics and Warner Bros Products were the primary sponsors of this effort.  

NASCAR --- Cup Champion Jeff Gordon, Busch Champion Dale Earnhard Jr., and truck series champ Ron Hornaday.  CART (Champship Auto Racting---Now called Indy Car Series) Jimmy Vasser, and of course WoO Champion Steve Kinser.  (my vote for favorite look (EASY CHOICA) is Kinser's sprint car ---wins this by a mile IMHO),  NHRA Pro Stock Bike Champ Matt Hines, Funny Car Champ John Force, TOP Fuel Champ Joe Amato and Pro Stock Champion Warren Johnson

Action Chairman Fred Wagenhals was quoted as saying:  "Superman is the perfect icon for these champion drivers because hey are superheros in the motorsports industry with as much strength, speed, energy and excitement as the Man of Steel himself.

Then DC Comics/Warner Bros senior VP of advertising said, "it is fantastic to have nine of the greatest drivers in motorsports come together as a tribute to Superman who epresents strength, speed and the ideals of Truth, Justic and the AMERICAN WAY OF LIFE".
