I found this decal, any information on what year it's from and who it is? Thinking it's Hewitt but not sure who or what the bird is signifying.

Thank you

J.W. Hunt the Strawberry King.  One of the most iconic owners out there.  He got money through Strawberry processing plant and shipping out of Florida.  The 63 sprinter was driven by many greats over the years especially Jack Hewitt, Bud Kaeding and Haud.  He owned Late Models also, Charlie Schwartz was one of his drivers.  David Pearson and Bobby Allison drove for him as well.  Jack Ingrahm (sp?) won 4 NASCAR LM championships driving for Hunt.  He was an iconic owner and is in the Sprint Car HOF.  He would show up in victory lane and give money out of his pocket sometimes.  He'd walk the pits and help guys out as well.. Helluva guy. That sticker is likely from the 1980s.

I remember a driver telling the story that they were strapped in for a big money race and JW came up to them and leaned into the car and told the driver if they won he would match the purse.   His sticker was on a ton of cars.

Definitely a Hewitt sticker. I used to have a t-shirt of his from 1987' or 88' with this graphic on the back of it, but I never knew the meaning behind the duck.

He was a character. Remember when he would roll into the track in a limo. He would always be bumping the purse or giving his drivers incentatives. I don't think he ever owned any of the cars he was just a happy supporter. Racing could use some guys like that nowadays.

My parents bought the same shirt for me when I was like 4 or 5, I think it was because I liked the duck and they liked Hewitt.

Seems to me that I recall a decal handed out with a duck on it from Brent Kaedings hauler. My kids liked that duck too. For sure we had the berry decal on the tool box at home. The duck stands out as wth is this about. If I was told back then, it's missing from my memory now.

  From central coast of Cali.
   Peace, Out.
