Why in the world would he not ask Macri about the Wagner incident in his VL interview?
He is insufferable. Every VL interview he fishes for and tries to prompt the guy being interviewed for compliments on Port Royal.
And finally, while I'm on my soapbox, the STSS has an execellent announcer that travels with the series - let him announce his own series - on his own.

If we are on a STSS soap box, why do they throw a yellow everytime a car has a flat or slows when it is clear they can get off the track on their own. That was driving me nuts! LOL

I love dirt mods and I'm glad streaming is giving them a new audience but that is a huge pet peeve of mine as well. Way too many flat tire related cautions.

I don't agree with you often but I remember Ted's announcing days, he always made it a little more fun to be at the track. Glad he is still involved with the sport.

earl was out supporting the greg hodnett 5k last year. my guess is bstrawser/wingedspeed was not. when i ran past him one time...i told him to ignore all the haters because he's a good announcer. he proved he's a great ambassador for the sport just by showing up to that event. i'll tell him the same thing again this year.
this is another conversation that comes up every year because everybody thinks they can do the job.

You need a hearing aid my friend. He is the worst I've ever heard and there were some bad ones years ago at Port. When you cant pronounce words, names, hometowns, sponsors or anything else out of his mouth, then you need to take a step back. Sure it was probably a dream thing for him. Brouse was 1000% times better, plus he had lots of facts, kept interacting and didn't scream like a mental patient. Of course Friday night you had Ellis calling Scotty Thiel, Scotty Teal. I mean good lord, get shit right at least. Even if you have to take your time. No need to try and spit out twenty words in two seconds. And the mush mouth that's not around anymore is even worse.

Yeah, never understood how the Port guy gets to co-annouce with a traveling series announcers that tend to be better. I think he could be fine though with some refining.

Earl is a Logan Wagner LOVER. He didn't ask Macri because he didn't want to hear the truth that Wagner f*cked up! Remember....kick the tires and light the fires, rip the lip, DUDE!
