I was thinking about this after watching the highlights  from Thursday at Volusia. And I just  read the article on Sprintcar Unlimited about the Thursday  track conditions.

The question  that came to mind and made me think about WoO and driver double standards.  Remember a when it rained at Eldora and the drivers said it was unsafe to race. And remember this was after USAC hotlaps. Anyway  why was it OK  to race at Volusia last night?  It is said over and over how fast Volusia is. Just read what the drivers said about last night but yet they still raced.  But not at Eldora . I am not trying to start anything  just asking an honest question?   Where is the consistency?  Why one and not the other?

If drivers are professionals who accurately judge their level of risk, why will the WoO mandate fire suppression systems?

I would venture a guess at insurance issues

The issue at Eldora was they could never get the inside of the track worked in. Thursday night you had 2 groups even if the inside was pretty treacherous.

I do love that you had an unbelievable race last night and hoseheads posters are bringing up races from May of last year (that were made up the next day).

The fire suppression mandate is an easy and cheap way for the WRG to promote their safety agenda and yes possibly address their insurance costs.  The equipment costs will not be incurred by them, but by the teams.  Up until this mandate I never heard of a cry by the WOO drivers to add these devices to the cars.  The voices have been screaming for safer tracks and improved safety crews.

The #1 concern of WRG should be in the inconsistencies of local tracks personal in its inability to get to a driver when it's needed. Period.  I've witnessed issues on more than 1 occasion were a driver has tried to scramble to get out of a car. Thankfully,  and I'll say it again thankfully,  if a wing does not seperate from the car and because of all the side panels in place today a driver is basically trapped. He has to sit there waiting for track personal to get to him. Few places do a tremendous job, others are piss poor at best. I think wrg has seen this and it's a reason for mandating the on board fire system.

I don't see how anyone can bring up fire suppression system when were talking about the conditions of the racetrack Thursday night as for the conditions of the racetrack they weren't that bad so it had a few ruts in the corners and was still tacky at feature time seems to me that's how tracks used to be they maybe weren't rough but they sure were tacky and I've seen tracks a lot rougher than this one and sprint cars race on it  by the way the didn't have wings and the drivers didn't load their cars up they went out and raced and some lady that a supposed owner told me on Facebook  she couldn't get it a frame that they ordered last fall all I can say is if you ordered a new car last fall and they still haven't got it to you by now you should try a different different kind of frame because the guy you're ordered it from doesn't think too much of you I know you're not too high on their priority list it truly appears to me that the World of Outlaw drivers that decided they didn't want to run Thursday I've got the idea that tracks need to be smooth and dry slick otherwise they don't like them I could be wrong and I probably am wrong but that kind of attitude is going to end up biting the World of Outlaws in the butt people are starting to realize the non-wing Sprint's and midgets put on a lot better show then and if World of Outlaw drivers keep loading up their cars just cuz I don't like track conditions and the non-wing guys and midget guys race on the same track conditions well I guess I don't need to say anymore I know where I'll spend my money.   Glen Murra

Ok. I'll insult you with the reply button since you're incapable of following a thought through 2 consecutive posts.

Is that clear for you?

Our entire country( including our police forces, military and veterans, not to mention soccer moms,)is telling the PM to kiss their ass. It will be very embarrassing for him to sit in a jail telling the big men how he was ousted from power by  men playing street hockey and kids in bouncy castles.

And to keep it open wheel,  much of the convoy started in Skylar Gees hometown.
