Not sure what your budget is, but assuming $150 range since that's a year of Flo.

Inventory and value the clear choice is Flo for $150. Otherwise, you get 3 months (or 4) with DirtVision (if you spend $160). There is almost always something on Flo, and every so often everything on DirtVision has rained out.

DirtVision has a platinum pass that includes Knoxville Nationals for $300.

If you only care about 410 sprints:

Flo: Lincoln, Port Royal weekly, All Stars

DirtVision: Williams Grove, Knoxville, Husets, Jackson, Jacksonville, WoO

It really is a matter of personal preference.

If WoO rains out on a weekend show, your options may be smaller than Flo.  Flo also includes the bulk of the Chili Bowl.

For me it's Flo racing. Same reasons listed here plus I get USAC sprints, midgets, and silver crown cars. On top of that they cover a lot of the local winged sprints here in northern California.

For me it's DirtVision. I am pretty much only interested in WoO. If they rain out DV has a few local tracks I can watch.

I like Floracing but have been getting a few months of Dirtvision and the final night of the Nationals.  Last year I had it a month or two longer and spent about $250.  I'm not sure this year as I'm only interested in the bigger WoO races.  The reason I get it is for Husets and Knoxville as those tracks are in my part of the country and I'm familiar with the drivers that race there.  I am debating whether Knoxville and Husets are worth the high monthly price when I don't watch every WoO race.  I do like some of their Late Model races so that will factor into the decision.

I am looking at trying to get to some more races and new tracks this year and I might decide on Flo only and save the $300 for live racing.  Maybe add some tracks to the forty I have been to.  Deciding between Ohio Sprint Week, Indiana Midget race or the Wisconsin All Star three nights of racing.  I'm retired and feel like heading off in whatever direction for a week of racing.  Just wondering how much windshield time I am willing to do to make it happen.  I travel alone and pay for everything and figure I have enough spare change to make it a fun trip.  We shall see.

I've been fortunate the last 2 years as work has gone well, and I can afford both.  However, if and when the time comes I have to tighten up my budget, I will try to keep DV because my favorite series is the WoO.  I guess you have to ask yourself what series you most enjoy watching.  If you are as big of an Outlaws fan as I am, you would be unhappy only being subscribed to Flo.  If you enjoy the All-Stars every bit as much as the Outlaws, then it's a no brainer-----go with Flo.  Cheaper and a lot of additional programming.

Depends on if you prefer WoO or "everything else"....

I have both, comes in handy with COVID & being stuck home taking care of Mom most of the time

But I did get to Chili Bowl (sister took care of Mom for a week), but that might have been almost as good on Flo...

If I could only have one, I'd go with FLO.   All Stars, all 3 USAC Divisions, ASCS starting this year is like almost 300 races just with those 5 series. Plus 360 and 410 racing in California, IRA races.  Some nights there are 5-6 races just from those series.

I have both, but if I had to choose I'd keep DirtVision, primarily because I like the WoO sprints the most and also really like dirt modifieds and they have the SDS tour.

If I was a Central Pa guy who didn't like the WoO or whatever, I'd probably choose Flo because they have Port and Lincoln. Same if I were an asphalt guy because Flo has a lot of content there.

Flo also has the big Eldora LM races which a lot of people like. It really depends on what you like the most, and you can't go wrong with either.

I have Flo.  I firmly believe that the All Stars put on a better show, and have better racing.  Plus I am from the Wisconsin area and like to follow the local IRA series as well.  Having all 3 USAC classes is also a huge bonus as I am all into wingLESS racing.  I am at Wilmot every week so I tune into Flo and keep up.

i'm lucky enough to have my alma mater...the drexel dragons...and their conference..the caa...show all their games on flohoops.  my prescription gets me all those games plus lincoln and port royal on a saturday night.  flo has gotten me interested in west coast racing and we watch the all stars religiously.  i never cared that much about non-wing usac stuff until we started taking better advantage of flo last year.  dirt vision shows great race replays that show me enough of what i want to see.

all my college friends rip flo apart because it's not espn.  i'll never get them to venture into the dirt racing world.  i probably won't get anybody to venture into the caa basketball world...but understand how much flo has to offer.  not only am i seeing races from tracks i never thought i'd see...but i'm seeing every drexel men's and women's game...home and away...without having to buy individual packages from each school.

drexel women's basketball is going for the 15th straight win tomorrow at 1.  check them out on flohoops.

We have too much BS to get across the border and back into our own country..One of the reasons for me picking DirtVision....

How do we determine who is a "true race fan?"  Some say that only true race fans go to the track and that those watching from home aren't true race fans.  Now you're saying that we can only be true race fans if we subscribe to both Flo and Dirtvision.  I guess that may leave me out.  I have only been going to races since 1960 and am only up to 40 tracks so far.  Now I am streaming only one channel and am in danger of getting my "certified true race fan" card pulled because I don't stream enough channels.  Do the couple of decades I spent photographing and writlint about racing give me extra points?

On a more serious note I am making fun of the term "true race fan".  As if someone can review our racing resume and determine whether we are real racing fans or not.  Notice that the ones using that term always consider themselves true race fans and hqve their own criteria for determining who qualifies.  wink

Small minds find small things to complain about...  He asked which one.. I said get both...  You think he should get one, say so.., don't conjure up some make believe reason to take exception. I don't think anyone said you had to do anything different...
