McMILLIN - Harold "Papa", passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2007, in the comfort of his home. Papa was born in Braggs, OK to Bill and Beulah McMillin (preceded in death) and grew up with his 3 sisters, Wilma, Shirley, and Caroline, before moving to Tulsa. During his life Papa worked 40 years, 5 months, and 26 days for Oklahoma Natural Gas Company, a fact that he was very proud of. During that same time period Papa always worked at least two jobs, the longest one at Jones Truck Lines for 20 years. Papa is survived by: his wife, Ruth; 3 sisters, Wilma, Shirley, and Caroline; his daughters, June, Teri, and Janie; son, Tommy and 8 loving grand children, T.J., Daniel, Matthew, Dustin, Tyler, Taylor, Ale, and Edo); 2 great-grandchildren, Kaitlin and Gauge and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to being an incredibly hard worker, Papa loved racing (nicknamed Cigar) and spent his younger years racing stock cars in his Blue # 9. In his later years he was an avid Nascar fan and supported many racing events including the annual Chili Bowl Race in Tulsa. He also loved to fish (nicknamed Catfish) and could never resist the adoption of any stray animal he came across. Papa was known most of all for his loving heart and his willingness to help anyone in need. We will miss Papa in our lives and will remember his words that "It's better to have a million friends than a million dollars." And as Papa would say, "Tootles".
