You may find it hard to believe but there really is two of them. It sort of reminds me of a new billboard that I heard about today.

With the schedule released by Port Royal it will be interesting to see if any of the other central pa tracks up there schedules. To make a comparison of dates and what is being offered at each track you can take your pick of seeing a xtra purse show just about anywhere. As for track prep, here we go, Lincoln is the by far the track that is easiest on motors. Many times it's a slimy mess and the heat races are boring at best. Dust, not at lincoln. My choice is port royal then williams grove, but you can't beat the racing at Selinsgrove either. Be glad central pa offers the best racing in the country. Each weekend you can pick and choose to see some great racing.

I'll throw Path Valley in there, they are working on the place and the racing is fun, far from the boring half mile freight train tracks They should get a Speedweek date, Kreitzer needs to dump hagerstown and add another small track, atleast its in PA.

I partially agree with you. Add Path Valley to Speedweek schedule, Absolutely!! Keep Hagerstown and have Lincoln, WG or Port give up one of their 2 dates. No track should have 2 dates. JMO.

Path Valley does not have the infrastructure for a Speed Week race. ( don't even tell me that they have had one before because that doesn't change that) I have been to Selinsgrove for big races and they barely do. You people do know that other than Grandveiw the big three as you call them pay higher purses than most tracks can? Also tracks without their group of regulars have a hard time drawing large car counts. There are eight tracks involved what Speed Week has more tracks involved? Williams Grove, Lincoln and Port Royal would have to give up a week of 410's to only have one. Then you rain that one out and what do they get out of it. Then add to that the issue of the tracks you replace them would likely pay a lower purse. This seems to be more a small group of fan's complaint rather than the race teams. I seldom hear them saying we should race for less money.

There's not one good reason for them to go to Hagerstown. Pa speedweek is terrible, nobody will give up there night and so tracks get 2 shows. I think they need to align themselves with the all stars for the whole week. Start it on a Wednesday and run it to Sunday night. 5 nights is plenty, grandview, grove, port royal, path valley and finish up Sunday at Selinsgrove. Grove and Port Royal can run a high purse late model event on there respective regular night. Grandview has the mods on Saturday. Lincoln gets all the extra cars that don't want to run speedweek. Grandview and Path Valley are 2 smaller tracks that guys don't run on a regular bases, then you have the 3 big 1/2 mile tracks that are the backbone of central pa big tracks.

I'd vote 4 these:
Wed, June 1st – Michael’s Mercer Raceway
Thu, June 2nd – Thunder Mountain Speedway
Fri, June 3rd – Lernerville Speedway
Sat, June 4th – Sharon Speedway
Sun, June 5th – Tri City Raceway Park

I like your idea of 5 nights only for a speedweek, except I would change it around a little.
Lincoln - You can't have a speedweek without this track.
Baps - We just got Baps back into speedweek last year. Don't need to exclude them again.
Grove
Port
Selinsgrove
Let's go Sprint Car Racing!
Knoxville - Best Track In the USA!
Eldora - 2nd Best Track in the USA!

So take a highly successful, well attended week, cut it in half, pay top dollar purses to the LMs in sprint car country and bring in the All Stars yet again even though car counts are not an issue.
I can't see a thing wrong with this proposal.

I would ask the teams how they feel about it. There is getting to be fewer and fewer teams that run the entire speedweek....too grueling!

Selinsgrove gets the last date again when car counts are low. Susky gets a better date.? Lots of teams will be hurting with supply issues, from what I've heard the smarter teams were hoarding parts since last year.

The race teams answer that question by showing up. Car counts have not a problem except at the tracks that don't run 410's regularly. That also answers the question of what they think of tracks having two races. All teams do not have to be at every race.

What maybe 6 or 7 teams ran the whole series this past year. Some of those were All Stars if I remember right. That is a BIG problem no matter how you slice it.

12 attended all racces, average car count was 36. When I am at a race I am more concerned with the car count today than who was at another race.

If you're gonna claim 'stats', at least be accurate about it.
- What maybe 6 or 7 teams ran the whole series this past year...12 drivers ran every race in 2021
- Some of those were All Stars if I remember right...2 of them, but with teams based out of Central PA...But even so, why is that a bad thing?
So, where is the 'BIG problem' again??
