What do you mean by promote it?
Are they taking over the management of the tracks entire season?
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

Yes. News from Saturday.

Feel a little bad for Colby Copeland. He's obviously got a stake in this but will be mostly ignored when anything regarding promotion of Silver Dollar is discussed.

On a sad note regarding Chico, John Padjen, long time promoter of Silver Dollar Speedway and Placerville Speedway just passed away. John stepped away from the sport about 10 years ago. Long time SDS announcer Troy Hennig wrote a nice piece about him and it's worth the read. Just go to www.silverdollarspeedway.com/hall-of-fame.

There names are being used, neither will be anywhere near the place unless there respective series takes them to the west coast. The daily operation of the track will be ongoing with Larson and Sweet as the final decision makers. It's a good thing for the 2 of them to take a shot at, maybe someday they will buy a track, that would be interesting to see what location they would choose.

I'm glad you have the inside scoop on Lernerville and their struggles to keep from closing. Now you have solid info on west coast track ownership. You are like the Yoda of motorsports Thank you for keeping the rest of us up to speed.
