This is an interesting development. A new Missouri-based 410 winged sprint car series with a projected 20-35 events next season.

Good Grief! POWRi will put it's name on anything. I guess they really need all of those registration/liscnese fees.
I guess the real question is where are all of these 410 winged sprint cars in the Missouri Valley? and how many of them are close to Lake of the Ozarks?

The hope I'm sure is it will entice existing 360 teams and new teams to invest in a 410.

If they go with Dain's rules nobody would have to buy a new anything.

be nice if ascs went from 360 to 410 s. They want to go to aluminum block 360, so why not just go to 410s>

Many of them wouldn't have to change anything.

If you think there's no 410s in MO then you don't pay very much attention. There's a lot more of them then 305s. If Powri pays decent they'll get decent car counts. It should only grow.

410 wing drivers and teams will need to pay attention and not let POWRi group want to start charging you to race. This is what they do with all their other divisions. 410 wing cars never pay entry fees to race and should never start that slippery slope. The teams put the show on and should never pay to race.

Really, 410 teams dont pay to race?
I am not being sarcastic but I thought there would be an entry fee to participate even if minimal.
I know there may be exceptions but if I have a 410 and go from track to track through Ohio and PA all I have to do is show up, the car has no entry fee?
I suspect the team members pay an admission price.
Please enlighten me.
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

Yes, you pay a pit pass and that's it.
With 410 wing racing it's always been no entry fee, just pay for a pit pass.
Non - wing racing always wants to charge an entry fee plus the pit pass. ( USAC, POWRi, MSCS ) I believe that all originated back in the day of club racing and the non-wing series just kept it up and racers not questioning it.

"Non - wing racing always wants to charge an entry fee plus the pit pass"
I didn't know that....plus the purse is considerably lower. No wonder they're losing team to winged sanctions....
