Ain't much to the posse these days, hell even the all stars whoop up on them. I'm sure cubic will come on here and set the record straight though. And once again we got the dick talking about a race that has not even happened yet.

This crap gets old. Posse vs Outlaw. More like Nascar vs Dirt. Fans of Nascar invading just to see Larson.. then standing so others can't see. They will never go to another race unless Larson is there.. lol.. Seems to me Larson is not an Outlaw and if Brent Marks would not have spun would have been different outcome. Just racing. There are quite a few good drivers there and I for one don't really care just want to see good racing. Freddy Rahmer passing cars Friday night fun to watch as well as Dietrich. Little Haud running rims, low budget teams running with well funded teams and doing well. Brad Sweet not in victory lane??? Not much else to watch really. Larson from the pole snooze. Best racing was through the field.. Saturday again not that great. Top notch cars there with tons of money vs low budget teams. Williamsgrove needs to improve the track surface and atmosphere. Get the dam rigs out of the infield. People paid good money all weekend and had to sit and watch the race in small segments. Get the fans out of season ticket holders seats. No conflict, saw several who believe they have the right to sit in others seats. I gave my seats to friends to use and they had to ask squatters to leave with protest. Really? There is security easy to check if seats are season. Leaving pit folks save seats early, so the regular crowd that pays good money and contribute to the 75000 have to fight for seats at 5. Very sad to watch people trying to find seats and early put folks taking Rows at a time. Shorten the track maybe would draw more cars. Disappointed alot of Allstars did not come out. Looking forward to Port don't care who wins and a much nicer track and atmosphere. Oh well just a little vetting. Go Posse, Go Outlaws, lol!!

I think they have a good shot at Port. Macri is probably the best Posse car now and he's just not as hooked up at the Grove. Lance is better at the Port too. Last night was fun, very large crowd, probably the biggest infield crowd I've ever seen there.

Yeah that sucked. lol Sucked when Brent spun and I don't know why Logan dropped to the bottom. It was slot cars around the cushion. If he had stayed up there he would have won. Macedo earned it though, good on him.
I agree with the above post. Shorten the straights a little and make the place racier and easier on motors. It would also make more room to move the pits outside.

I don't care who wins! People bitch about the Grove's surface, no passing follow the leader race track. Friday night the track had it's 2nd heaviest surface along with 49 cars. 40 of which were within a 1/2 second of other!!! The Grove is probably the most unique 1/2 mile in the country. The place is Hallowed Ground for the racers. You had arguably the best driver in the country win Friday night running the biggest ledge of the year. Freddie & DD passed a ton of cars with 5 posse, 3 Outlaws & 2 independants in top 10. The place is still Sweet's cryptonite.
Saturday night started as about the same speed track as Friday night, but slowed down by the end of time trials. The track was much wider without the big ledge which helped to create a bottom groove. Top 5 were constantly changing positions. Marks had a terrible misjudgement to add to his misfortunes of the last 3-4 weeks. Missed out on $103k in 3 races he would have won (probably).
Now Schuharts controls until 10 to go & help from Jacob who blocked Macedo for a lap couldn't get him to the prize.
So you have a car #41 that has 2 Opens wins now.
You have a 2nd place car #1s duplicate his finish from last year.
Always exciting rim riding Sheldon could have won with a break or 2.
7 WOO-2 Posse-1 independant in top 10. 2 of those who certainly would like to have a couple laps back. LD's getting passed by Macri in the dash was his downfall of the evening & Larson having trouble on the clock again. Usually by the 2nd night Outlaw drivers & teams tend to get with the program & adjust come night 2.
I thought it was a very entertaining 2 nights & certainly Kathy Hughes is smiling from ear to ear with $1 million+ gross for the weekend.

The track was fast. Winged Strawser did you see all the passing in the top ten ? Enough said, if marks would have seen that slower car I'm not sure if anyone was going to catch him.

Macedo pulled the 8 pill in the dash and still won. Marks Was fast but I think either Logan or Macedo could have been better.

I watched 2 great nights of racing on a really good surface. No half throttle around the bottom either night. Guess thats why the 69k couldnt keep up.

Nonsense. Haven't you been paying attention? The Outlaw format only rewards the winner of the dash draw.

Yea I'm not a big fan of the dash draw. WRG needs to get rid of it. I say line up your odd heat finishers in 1 row and the even heat finishers in the other. Still puts the #1 qualifying car up front and I realize it's all about who pulls the right pill out of that can.

I'd make one change. The heat winners pick spots 1-4. The 2nd place finishers pick spots 5-8. It might make the battles for the heats a bit more interesting and doesn't allow for a guy who sets quick time and wins his heat to be "rewarded" with starting 8th in the dash.

It was a good field this weekend, but alot of names that weren't there. Most of the All Stars, Tim Shaffer, Lucas Wolfe, Logan Wagner.
I know there's some rumors of Courtney or Eliason going to the WoO next year, but I'd have thought if that were true, they'd have been there at the Grove. We'll see.

Friday was a snoozer for the leaders, but Rahmer & Dietrich saved some face for the Posse by going from 26 to 7, & 21 to 8, respectively.
Saturday had some good passing in the back of the field too: Dewease 10-7, DD 16-12, Larson 13-8, Sweet 19-10
Trouble is you miss most of that on PPV, couldn't go because of family issues.... Oh well
I still kinda sorta claim Schuchart for Posse.... like Univ. of North Carolina & Chicago Bulls can both claim Michael Jordan. He's a UNC grad who played pro with Chicago. So to me, Schuchart is a Posse alumnus who races with WoO

I'm not reading all the posts, b/c it seems like they're the same each time this comes up.
Rivalries are good for any sport, including sprint car racing. It only sucks when someone takes something too far or personel.
