My wife and i will be in RI (block island area) on friday and have time to drive to a sprint car race. What tracks are running on friday that we might try to get to?

Williams Grove and Trailway are both 6.5 hours. Might have more luck with New Jersey modifieds to be honest

Accord NY is probably the closest. I think The Grove is dark that night anyway, so Accord and Stafford CT (paved) are your only Friday options in the Area. WG is a heck of a haul, but i have gone there and back from RI on the same day before.

Is 9/11 a Friday? Not world class, but sprint cars: http://sprintcarsofnewengland.myracepass.com/schedule/
Might be a bit of a drive from RI... NH is a long state North to South
Sprint cars are VERY rare in New England. I scratch my head over how David Gravel ever got so good...

Thats crazy! When I drive to Pa. for a race, from Connecticut, I spend the nite, usually hit at least 2 races to make the drive worthwhile

That's a cool website.
As for the original post, I think Albany-Saratoga is running Friday, that's about 3 hours plus from RI.
