What happened to Rico driving the #57 as was annouced ( and tshirts produced and bought I might add ) early in the season?

There 2 different cars that look a like.
Rico drove the California #57 a few times this year and Paul turned the wrench for the owner.
Pauls #57 stays back in the midwest and Kyle is the only person who drives the #57.
Can't wait to see the hauler Paul is restoring for the midget to travel in.
