Got the 69k off the porch and to Knoxville. Also got them to Mansfield when they tried the 100k races.
But why don't they run at Eldora?

IMO they would rather stay home and run $10,000 to win shows than run for whatever top 15 would pay at Eldroa. No travel expenses. Big fish in the smaller pond mentailty.

Many others choose not to attend. They are not obligated to go. Perhaps they feel it provides best Return On Investment (ROI) to not go to Eldora. Or maybe they just simply don't want to go!

Well I am sure they will tell you they are too old and not enough equipment due to low funding as always. Also Eldora would probably be way to fast for them.

Their program isn't built for Eldora. They know that therefore they refrain. Just like the other several hundred sprint car teams who will also not be at Eldora.

It sure is great to see so much interest in the 69K.

For all the naysayers, back in 1986 at the 3rd-ever Kings Royal a little old team snuck through the field and ending up winning Eldora's newest prime time event. It wasn't Sammy, or Steve, or Doug....it was the 69K driven by Don Kreitz Jr. 35 years ago before you idiots had a keyboard to bitch and complain about EVERYTHING.

WELL SAID
So the rest of the sprint car world wanted Lance to race as Knoxville, which they did, But the trip cost them their Iconic hauler, blew the engine on the way home. They now tow to the races in a pickup and rather small tow behind trailer. There is no need to race at Eldora as this stage. The 69K team is racing on their terms and is quite sucessful.

Who says there isn't going to be a 69K(or 2) at Eldora? Are you in the know mongooseman? Oh disregard that last thought, if you were in the know, then you would know how the team operates and their reasoning.

Krietz won the Kings Royal in 86. Wasn't too fast then for them. HAHA

First four cars had problems. The 69k lucked in that King's Royal win. He was way behind in 5th when the top four dropped out.

Wasn't meant as a slight to the 69K. Simply saying that towing to Eldora to run for a finish somewhere in the 10-15 range makes little sense for them considering they can stay home, sleep in their own beds, have no expenses and compete for the winners share every night. They are one of the top cars in their region. But, they cannot compete with the field assembled for the Kings Royal AT Eldora Speedway. If it was in their back yard.... sure they're competitive. Home field advantage. (which is worth 2 1/2 - 3 point on NFL betting lines) Just my opinion.

It was pretty obvious watching their "shop tour" that they're a low budget team concentrating on their local tracks. I could figure that out way the hell over here in Minnesota when their shop is more cramped than my garage. The big teams have shops that look like damn warehouses full of motors and cars. Based on what I saw they are doing a helluva job keeping up with the well funded teams.

Never had a problem or issue with Kreitz. Just his current driver.

I believe the 69K is the point leader right now at Williamsgrove Speedway and might be running for points for the year. JMO

Once again if you wanna spend your money and pay the bills I'm sure they would probably go race there. Donny pays the bills and they choose to stay at home. Hell go start your own team nd travel all you want. They also have a 305team that needs funded if you want to pay those bills too.

These point standings tell you all you need to know about Williams Grove. Justin Peck 10th in points and made "maybe" 6 appearances there this year.
