It's pretty clear to me what he was asking. If the race rains out on a Friday, I assume Nascar will run whenever is good for TV, which is probably the next day. But I don't know the nascar schedule well enough to know. In regards to the Usac race, nascar will trump that if need be. But again: I think they would do their best to run both if possible.
Iowa weather is impossible to predict, so a forecast 5 days out is not to be trusted just yet.

It's a fairly easy post to understand. If you don't understand it, let it go. Let someone else respond. Itll be okay if you let a thread or two go without chiming in.

I wouldn't be surprised if they used Saturday afternoon as their rain date. The trucks could run on a slick rubbered up afternoon track that would not be up to Sprint Car fans standards but would be fine with a slow slick track for NASCAR. They would have enough time to get a decent track for the.night show. They'd have to hustle but I think they could do it.

That's a long tow for the USAC guys. I would think if the plug may get pulled with weather, USAC will no doubt make an early call to save the teams the travel expenses. They did already with a pair of midget shows scheduled for Missouri (cancelled early so teams didn't waste money).
I realize this was about the truck show, but USAC is also a player here too.

YRB12,
Hoping this is a nice and civil public forum. Why do you feel the need to call someone a moron?

Whemme,
Read the thread about least favorite drivers and you will see he is just getting a taste of his own medicine.

Not to pile on but what the heck, revjim, you got to stop trying to get the last word in when you feel you have been wronged.
I read the OP and understood it. A little comprehension goes a long way.

Same boat as Glen. Ready for USAC and 410 wings but really not that interested in NASCAR. Doubt I go but I won't rule it out. Forecast is hard to predict. I'd say being July chances of actual rain are slim and they find a time slot to do both. Now if that becomes Sunday for the sprints and severely limits the crowd and car I am not sure but sure hope not. Let the trucks run Saturday during the day. They are used to running on pavement so rubber down won't be an issue.

I would be devastated and forever hold a serious grudge if the NASCAR Truck Race were to cancel out the Real Show on Saturday!!!
