I went back and changed this post. I get kind of tired of chowderhead glhayden twisting my words to sould like stupid shit. If he wants to say stupid shit, he's quite capable of doing it on his own. It occured to me, that he doesn't go to the races and probably doesn't even watch races online. His hobby is to get on here and say dumb stuff about racing in order to get a rise out of people. I've added him to my ignore list.

Pretty much but I thought maybe some test and tune drop ins for the big race coming up there in a little while. Surprised so many drop into Knoxville when given the chance but not Husets in this situation.

Knoxville is Knoxville. Every other track is not Knoxville.
Also, I believe some of the extra cars at Knoxville this past week were there because of Hall of Fame night and someone connected to the team being inducted.

Right now there seems to be a problem all over with car counts. F-1 only had 16 cars at last race. Nascar most often does not have a full 40 car fieldThey used to have a 43 car field and before that I think it was something like 50 cars. How often will people pay the high price for WOO tickets and see only 16 cars plus 2 filler cars driven by pit crew? It all gets down to money or lack of money.

There aren't many 410's in Minnesota and the few there are all had other commitments. NOSA had a points show in the Dakotas, Heskin races at Knoxville and a couple were over on the other side of Wisconsin running IRA/All Stars. There are a few 360's, IMCA 305's and the UMSS also limited motors. There are plenty of Sprint Cars but very few 410's with only a few that could even have success with the Outlaws. That's why I stayed home and watched the IRA/All Star show. I didn't expect many cars up there on a Saturday with 410 races 300 miles to our south, east and west.

This always cracks me up on car count!! When the WoO or AllStrs or whoever goes to areas with limited amount of sprintcars and have a short field evryone seems to freak out over it! I for one am glad to see some of these areas have Outlaw races, maybe it will entice a few cars to up their game a bit and promote 410 sprints in the area. As a fan in these areas I am glad to see them even if they don't have 30 or more sprints!

Seems like a good time to be a dirt track fan. The 360 and 305 sprints are a hoot to watch on smaller tracks. How many variations on modifieds and late models are there now? They all look good on DV and Flo

Agree they should go into areas that are not hotbeds, but would say those types of shows should be midweek if possible to entice more non-regulars or drivers with commitments elsewhere to join.

Could it be that Gravel's car owner happens to also own Husets and the car is sponsered by Husets Speedway?

Huset's has a reputation for eating race cars. Everything that makes racing exciting at Huset's ( fast, tight, giant concrete wall) is also it's worst enemy. Purely speculation, but I doubt too many outlaw teams want to risk tearing up equipment for a weekly show.

Gravel was given permission to race at Husets from WoO , I believe the same was given to all the teams to race Knoxville a couple of weeks ago.

Woo teams are permitted to race at non woo events in most cases if that track hosts a woo event. The reason you see so many teams popping into knoxville is for the extra seat time and R&D for that big race they have there every year in August
