Is Husets as empty as it appears to be on DIRTVision? How come the fans haven't supported the first 2 events?

No idea as I'm not there but, it was cold last week. This week its been threatening rain nearly all day and its graduation weekend for a lot of schools in the area.
Also the fact that you're watching it on dirtvision probably has something to do with it also. Its easy to sit on your couch and watch a race, esp when the weather isn't great.

In addition, South Dakota State University was playing for the Football Championship Subdivision (formerly Division 1AA) on ABC live. That school is located about 60 miles from Husets. That game ended just after 5 pm central time today. That may have kept some football fans away. The team has a number of players from the Sioux Falls area.

I'm also 1300 miles away, which makes for a difficult commute on a Sunday night.

I'd say it was about half full. The crowd this week seemed smaller than last week. Looks are a little bit deceiving. The grandstands are pretty big, and half full is still quite a few fans. Also, what you don't see is all the enclosed seating up along the top. On Dirtvision, the view you see of the crowd is mostly the lower level between the concourse and the track. Those seat are generally not too full, as you are almost too close to the action. The cars are right in your lap, and you're catching a lot of mud there.

Half full is great for a weekly show. Good to hear that it's not as empty as it looks on DV. Definitely want Husets to be a success.

Shut the fuck up. Don't try to play internet tough guy, you don't scare anyone.

What's funny is the biggest word he quoted was "wouldn't." I guess that's a big word for some people.

The crowd was terrible each night. As predicted by yours truly, 410 car counts are not a problem in fact they are damn good.
I am much more worried about the fan count. Its gonna take a while to get that back.

So it would be better if he would go piss on him if he was on fire? I was responding to the guy asking the other dude if he felt safe and secure behind his keyboard. This was the guy that was being a dick to Bill for no reason so I told him to STFU.
In any case, attendance may have been off last night since there was a 90% chance of rain at 6pm.

Right. The same guy who said he was "real impressed" with all the big words, the biggest of which is "wouldn't."
We're fighting the same fight here. But nevermind.

School still in session, mothers day was long john weather, last night it was supposed to rain, I think they will be fine. I will get some flak for this next statement, but when the rubins ran it they also ran hobby stocks. Alot of people work with, know, or have a neighbor who has one, they bring fans. Placed right in the program, they also help keep the track from sealing over. Running a couple fender classes brings fans who arent sprint car fans, and they pay the same price we do. Just a thought.

Yup and thats what I 90 and Rapid speedway are for, May crowds have always been sketchy, last night the only place it wasn't raining was Brandon SD. Great program, Henderson was on Matrix level...

It's true about hobby stocks. I used to sponsor one at my old job because it cost me about $250 in pop rivets to do it. I also sponsored a 305 and that was maybe $500 worth of nuts and bolts. It's fun to have a buddy to cheer on. For me, they were also customers and I sold nuts bolts and rivets so it was good business. It's a lot easier to get sponsors at the lower levels of racing. It's also not a stretch once you get into it as a sponsor to say that $10k for a billboard at the track isn't that bad of a deal. Like it or not, lower classes put butts in the seats and get sponsors involved that might not otherwise do it.
