I'm no expert on live streaming, but could the issues be the result of where the broadcast is originating from? For me The stream from Jacksonville was terrible with interuptions and the need to refreash. On the other hand, the stream from Odessa was consistent throughout the entire race, with no interuptions.

I literally have zero problems. Like ever. I don't know what some of you people are doing wrong, but I assure you that it is something happening on your end.

I very rarely have a problem with DirtVision. I was one of a very small group of people on the Sunday of Bristol that had my AppleTV AND Roku apps both freeze in the afternoon. DV reached out with a private YouTube link to watch the broadcast, can't ask for much better customer service than that.
As far as the OP's situation:
* try a different browser or
* Try reducing the stream quality from 720 to the next level down (found in the lower right corner in Chrome for example)

Download a WIFI analyer app onto your phone, sign into you're WIFI and see if you have dead spots in your home or a bunch of neighbors using the same channel. If your signal drops get yourself a mesh WIFI system that relays the signal throughout the home. Mine has three units, one plugs into the modem and the other two are spaced out in the lower level. The mesh systems relay the strong signal through the whole house. I have 100 Mbps service but found out that it dropped down to almost nothing in the family room on the other side of the furnace, duct work, water heater and laundry stuff. The mesh system solved that problem and cost me about $200. If everyone on your block is using the same WIFI channels you should be able to log into your modem/router and try different channels before determining that you need a mesh system.
My lower level TV is hard wired to Ethernet using the Roku app so now that DV has made a Roku app available I can use my wired connection instead of the WIFI and never have any issues with that or my mesh system WIFI. My son installs security systems and has to evaluate WIFI in homes and businesses. He filled me in on all this and wired both of our TV's for Ethernet. That required a powered signal booster/splitter that the main feed from the modem plugs into and splits to the upper and lower levels. Every home is different depending on size and what you're using but Dirtvision shouldn't be buffering if you have a consistent 75 Mbps in the room your watching in.

They tweeted that it's a connectivity issue. The track is in the middle of nowhere so every so often this happens... it just happened on Flo I believe last week with a USAC race. They're not Fox/NBC rolling in with 15 TV trucks..

My smart tv stopped loading last night. I emailed DV tech support & they recommended streaming from the Roku option which I did & worked fine. I asked if something was new and they said they had only changed some encryption to prevent illegal broadcast but nothing else. Roku works fine as well as my phone

Roku is an app specific to Roku TV. You need a Roku device and account to use it.
I have an old laptop someone gave me probably ten years ago. It was from an office he works in and is slow and had the OS erased when I got it. I installed Linux and still use it to look stuff up out in the garage and keep it in the TV room. During Bristol I wanted to watch something else so I used that old thing to stream Bristol. No issues all afternoon. The WiFi signal in the home is the issue. I have three computers, that old laptop and two others that are both slightly over three years old and both stream anything I can throw at them. Tower is hard wired to Ethernet and the newer laptop uses our WiFi. Both run on the Linux OS. A four or five year old computer should handle it.

I too have been having buffering problems beginning with Jax broadcast. I went through the list of recommendations, sometimes works well, sometimes not. I began using Chrome in Feb with their recomendations. I seem to have trouble if I have a feed with Flo playing on another page.
They are usually pretty quick with e-mail replies, but pretty never seem to say they may be having problems on their end.
There is nothing more irritating than watching the lil circle spinning in the center of your viewing screen while you know that you are missing what you paid to see!

Every once in a while I will have a racing broadcast buffer but when they do I know for a certainty that me setup is rock solI'd on my end. Both TVs hard wired to the router and a mesh WiFi system for our other devices and a consistent 100 Mbps. My wife and I stream all of our channels through Hulu and we have Netflix, Amazon Prime and a ton of free Roku channels that we watch daily without any issues. If a race buffers on Floracing or Dirtvision I don't touch anything because I know that my streaming setup both hard wired and WiFi are not the problem.
I think the biggest issue streaming races is that so many of these tracks are out in rural areas where internet service providers can be kind of sketchy. If there were dirt tracks broadcasting from NYC or LA the stream would be flawless.

It didn't work for anybody last night. They had trouble with the broadcast posted the replay in the vault after the race.

An example of tracks being out in the sticks with poor internet is what I'm assuming has me watching the Sunday All Star race in what looks to be about 360p resolution. I don't believe they have a water truck or grader either.

Did you try adjusting the resolution down one level to like 540? This has worked for me in the past. (My Mac laptop is 6 years old and still going strong with DV)

They got it working right around heat 1. After that it was fine.

They posted on the Roku icon for I-70 that it was down and would be posted as soon as it could be uploaded after the conclusion of the race. I tried getting on there several times throughout the evening. Others posted the same experience on the social media pages. If you got it on Saturday you must be living right.
