My wife's boss is a N.Dak sprint car driver's wife. She has been married to him about 5 years and has never seen him race. Just not interested in racing. They are both about 50 years old. Track announcer said to crowd first night out that he had bought one of Donny Schatz's cars, nice new purple paint job---good looking car. Anyway, my wife asks the driver's wife at work on the following Monday "I see Tom has a new sprint car", to which the wife answered, "no just a new paint job".
My wife new enough to not say anything more.
Adding $6 trillion of debt in his 1st term and now if
elected again he wouldn't have to worry about an
electorate in 2016 so the sky is the limit. And his EPA
would continue to put the screws to oil drilling and
mining for coal. Can you say bankruptcy.

Nothing unusual for some. I know a guy in Oregon that does the same thing. Sorry Kev. NOT!

I would imagine that's not uncommon among spouses and partners that aren't involved in racing too. My partner and I have separate finances and we aren't accountable to each other as long as our respective bills are paid. I have no idea how much he spends on his motorcycles and his gun collection and he would rather not know what I spend on roller derby, handbags, and electronic gadgets.

Hope all is well, have a fantastic Thanksgiving.

I have a moderate to extreme iPod addiction.
All is great! I am celebrating Thanksgiving tonight with my family, with our traditional prime rib. Turkey on Thursday with the in-laws. I hope you have a great Thanksgiving as well!

There are a few of us "dweebs" out here in race car land who find this site more inviting to open up than other places or sites. Hoseheads is a community. Inane thoughts sometimes come through simply because these are the people we most prefer to be around.
