Fayetteville Motor Speedway –  In a town where no one messes with any one because everyone is afraid of others, a town of Airborne’s casually supported by an unknown Op, had a sprint car race this weekend.

Said sprint car race had over thirty cars this weekend.  The author of said article is trying to protect an identity because “they” don’t want to be liable toward informative information.

That being said….

This past weekend was F***ing awesome.

Over thirty gorgeous sprint cars showed up at Fayetteville Motor Speedway and competed for the Mike Jackson Memorial.

I personally showed up for practice on Thursday night and had a little fun.  I’ve never actually practiced at a track before!

As I was loading up my car from practice night excited for a great weekend, someone rode past me with Mike’s car on an open trailer, and life just stopped.

I wanted to beat the hell out of everyone this weekend, but that wouldn’t be possible if I couldn’t beat Mike too.

Every time his car rolled by me in the pits, I prayed for a smooth start up.  Every time his crew chief dove in the corner, I prayed it would stick.

Drizzle from an extremely random shower would lightly cover our cars moments before feature time on Saturday.  Our official, Andy, used this as a time to recognize who we are racing for.  As the command to push off for Mike went green, life and Heaven opened up to allowed twenty-four of the best sprint car drivers in the world to race for God and Mike’s amusement.

According to the fans, we put on a badass show!  According to myself and many others, we wanted to dedicate our win to Mike.  We loved him so much.

Vardell did…
