A new year at Port Royal and same old winning mechanic.

I believe Davy Brown has wrenched a car to victory every year since 1959.        Congratulations Davey !

Worth repeating - over and over. An amazing guy!

And, I think you missed it by about 5 years. I'm thinking it's 1954 - maybe even 53.

He's been winning races longer than many of us have been around.

Karl Kinser might have more wins but Davey Brown wins on longevity. He's got 10 years on Karl.

Feathers from Winchester said he will tow to Port all yr and so did Bare. Both said best late model track in Pa. Winchester and Hagerstown only got handful of LM races all yr..

Not to mention...Port Royal Speedway is the highest paying weekly show for Super Late Models in the entire country. $3000 top win and $300 to start at a minimum. Throw in a $200 weekly hard charger, multiple touring series races with the ULMS, WoO and the Lucas Oil Late Models.....we're talking a field of 35-40 weekly for late models and some of the best the sport has to offer

Good. Stay home. That's all anyone ever wanted. Now that you'll never go again, you shouldn't feel the need to talk about it anymore right? But see, you still will because you're one of those people who are miserable and you like to shit on everyone who isn't as miserable as you. Therefore, you actually enjoy repeating yourself like a parrot about the same old thing you claim to not like. You don't hate Port Royal as much as you hate the fact that a lot of other people like Port Royal so your 4th grade intellect can't help but to compel you to project your own misery on them. It's pretty sad actually. If you weren't such a negative, loud mouthed, underachieving know nothing asshole, I'd probably feel sorry for you.

Bingo...

You think they might notice the irony in the phrase "same old" in the title????? wink

Watched the race from Port on flo....good race.  People running the top people running the bottom.  Passing.  No destroyed cars.

Watched the race from Lincoln....not typical looking lincoln track,  alot of torn up equipment.  And some passing.

IMO Port was the much better show.

You should have a snowmobile and have some fun with that.

Let's not talk about the surface at the grove today. Ole winged Strawser mite lose it.

That was extremely poor!

Did you see the tires that came off of more than a few cars! I'd say the only one that made $$$$ at the Grove was the Hoosier dealer....

Who cares what the track looks like? Last year the first time  I saw Port I almost turned off the race. The track looked like a black slick shit hole when I tuned in. I watched a few heat racs and they were very good. I kept watching......now Port is on my list of places I'd like to see live in the future. Been to Williams Grove and wasn't impressed.

The races at Port today were very good. Would have been interesting to see what Dewease could have done. Over the last year the races at Port have been way better than any of the o

Lincoln was ok. I keep watching and waiting to be impressed. Maybe it's because their announcer sucks so bad that it just drains the whole energy out of the race. At least when Flo was there with their announcers the place had a professional sounding person at the mic.

Williams Grove was a complete embarrassment last week. What a pitiful event it was.

Dietrich has moments of greatness and is at least exciting to watch at times. Lance is just plain good and spot on.  Some of the drivers that aren't household names are damn good. I have yet to see a race in Pa where Freddy Rahmer looked half as good as the hype that is out there.

Aaaaaaand the idiot twins are back for another week of sounding like the dumbest race fans/fan in America. Keep going to Lincoln girls, judging by the crowd at Port, they are doing just fine lol.

Yeah the amazing thing about Port is when the track is black and slicked off like that, most of the best drivers are still running up top - inches from the wall. Every other track I know of, the cars are running freight train around the bottom when the track is like that. I don't know how they do it but it usually produces very entertaining races and lots of passing. Who cares what the lap times are. If you are looking at lap times you are missing the race.

Lincoln used to be great but it seems like the racing the last few years has only been OK for the most part. I thought last night was pretty good. Always nice to see Krimes get a W. Freddie has been a little bit off the last couple years I think.
