I don't so social media but would like to comment to the guys on floracing who are talking about J.JYeley's drive to the front in 2004 please remind them that Danny Stratton was doing the same thing in the opposite line of features - Yeley ended up passing just a couple more cars than Danny did. Thanks. I just think that Stratton deserves the accolades for passing the 2nd most cars at the Chili Bowl.

Sorry about that. It hadn't shown that the post happened as it generally does so I clicked the post button again. I am not a Ret - oh - that's right - we cannot use that word anymore either. We learn by others mistakes.

Missed you at the race this year. Yes, we can still use the word retard. As in, a need to retard the timing to achieve a better ignition burn.

Then why don’t you do the right thing and delete the unnecessary 2nd post?

To whemme I didn't delete the 2nd messaage because I am basically computer illiterate. With that said.... no - I will not go there... Enjoy racing when we get a chance to go. I have been going to the dirt races (started with the midgets in Tulsa - I remember them after WW II) and I got to see Jan Opperman race and got to know him and others of that time - pre World of Outlaws. I feel privileged to have lived through some of the glory days of racing - so I can live without knowing everything about computers. Please forgive me for my lack of knowledge about current things. I mean - midgets didn't use to have batteries. WOW. Imagine that!
CHEROGER - Hey - you were able to go to the races after all? That is great. The last I had heard was that you were on the "can't go" list. I actually tried to see if I could see you in the stands but they never had any close up shots. My brother always asks how you are doing. We had such a great time the day you took us to lunch. I have learned a lot from you and missed seeing you as well. I am debating about going next year. There were some nice things about being able to watch from home but I sure missed seeing folks like you. Also, I think floracing did a good job but they still can't watch everyone an individual might want to watch.
Take care and hopefully next year will be "sane".

Why don't you just ignore the 2nd post?

Our tickets did come through. They were in the mail, ha ha. I only went Saturday night and watched the other nights on Flo-Racing. I thought they did a good job. My only complaint about Saturday was the long delay between races, especially the A feature. But, I guess the wait is worth having a better racing surface with less dust. Hope to see you there next year. Take care.
