I teased this back in August, about being able to share how Jenny Hutton created a legacy for Keith after his death at Oskaloosa in 2003. Today, the article was released on Outside Groove. I hope you'll all take a look.

This piece means a great deal to me, and I'll never forget the opportunity that Jenny gave me to write it.
My family was great friends with Keith and Jenny. We ate breakfast every Sunday before we went home to Illinois. When Keith passed, my dad took the time to share with me what he would want if ever passed away, all the important details and decisions. (He never did these things, he thought kids should be kids and I was only 17.) One month exactly after loosing Keith, September 12th, we lost my dad unexpectedly. At 17, I was the only one who held the answers to what he would want, and I planned his funeral, read/wrote his eulogy.
I will be eternally grateful that after 17 years, Jenny Hutton chose to come forward with her story and let me write it before she returned to Australia. There is so much to take away from this story, and one day I'll share even more on my column here on Hoseheads. But, for now, here's a lesson in positivity.
