I see that Selinsgrove Speedway is back to hosting the final Sunday of Speedweek this year. I know it's a holiday Sunday/Monday, but won't they be back in the same ole rut with low car counts being the 9th and final race again?
And I wonder who will pick up the first Sunday of the week. I've seen no schedules but Selinsgrove is reporting July 4th as the finale which indicates Speedweek is the full week prior.

Didn't that article on the track at Bloomsburg say it was getting a Speedweek date?

There was a new article in The Daily Item (Sunbury) and the Speedweek they were referrring to was not the winged 410 PA Speedweek.
“We are not looking to race weekly," he said. "Just 10-12 events a year. USAC just released their Speedweek and we are scheduled for June 20, plus we are looking at two USAC Regional series before the Speedweek race so we can see how to do track prep and race procedures. The Midget week schedule isn’t out yet but we’ll have a race there and then the fair race. Right now, those are the only events we have planned but we are open to speaking with other groups.”

Bloomsburg doesn’t plan to host weekly racing but has a special-events-only format in mind. They hope to have the new track ready by the time Pennsylvana Sprint Car Speedweek rolls around and are certainly looking at the USAC Midget Week. There are hopes to stage either a sprint or midget race during the last day of the fair.

Can't imagine why Selinsgrove would voluntarily go back to the finale instead of 1st Sunday. Look for a 20 car field.

I know Monday the 5th is the Federal Holiday but I agree, that's a head scratcher.
