RIDER ENGINES HAVE WON THE TOP 3 SPOTS ON THE SPRINTSOURCE WINNER FEATURE POLLS. KYLE LARSON (31), MARK SMITH (20), AARON REUTZEL (14). THAT IS 65 WINS. BRADY BACON IN 5TH HAS 12 WINS. HE ALSO RUNS RIDER ENGINES. THAT BRINGS THE TOTAL TO 77 WINS FOR 4 DRIVERS IN THE TOP 5. PRETTY IMPRESSIVE NUMBERS.

REUTZEL AND BRM IN A WHOLE (87 & 17) HAD MORE THAN A FEW MOTOR ISSUES OVER THE THREE YEAR RUN. RIDER HELPED THE PROGRAM, BUT AT THE SAME TIME COST THEM SOME DUBS. WITH SO MANY DRIVERS RUNNING RIDER ENGINES, I'VE OFTEN WONDERED JUST HOW MANY TECHS THEY HAVE WORKING ON ENGINES AND DO SERTAIN DRIVERS HAVE CERTAIN TECHS WORKING ON JUST THEIR MOTORS ?
That's all I got, I can't yell anymore ....

Biggest issue I seen this year was the failed MSD box. What's up with that?

I agree with the MSD box issue. Those things must be a big piece of crap. I always wondered why the teams didn't mount that on the drivers side of the firewall to make access quicker and easier. Or have 2 and the ability to just switch over to the backup.

Think long and hard why they might not be mounted with ease of access in mind.

Why.....Didn't the hottest sprint car driver in the country (Larson) run Rider Engines in the Silva #57? Just Sayin'.

A lot easier to switch chassis than engines. They'll save money with XXX and I'm sure they already plan to go through quite a few throughout the year anyways. With the short rope a Roth driver usually gets, I can't imagine an engine change. There doesn't seem to be any question who's the boss at Roth. Better question, is there a driver besides Schatz or Larson with enough clout to force an engine change if they went to Roth.

Agreed, much easier to swap chassis manufactures. Also, I think Roth is pretty happy where their at with Speedway. Why is it you think they'll go through quite a few chassis ? It's not like Reutzel folds them up on a regular basis. A majority of his DNF's were mechanical related issues.

Normal wear and tear...I would guess that an outlaw team is probably going through 5 or so in a year
