Can't believe someone didn't beat me to this thread.
All good things come to an end, I guess. 17 years is a long time for a team to stick together. So long that maybe you just take it for granted that they'll be there and be competitive on most nights.
Shouldn't The Edge's career WoO stats include 1 win if not for an uncharacteristic move by Mr. Schatz?
The ensuing "Donuts" cartoon was one of the funniest things ever on this board.
I wish I would have saved it. If someone has it, please post it.

Which race was that? I remember Schatz getting heat for something but don't recall the details.
Monteith's 0 WoO wins is not something I'd have predicted given how many times they've raced at Lincoln lately.

Definitely a bummer not to see them together, but hope that Brian lands a good opportunity and that the Premier #21 continues racing next year.

I'm thinking it was a prelim/Friday night race at Williams Grove probably all of 10 years ago.
My 10's usually turn out to be 15's.

It's interesting too that it ended so abruptly - no swan song race on the last race of the year at the home track.
