Am I the only one that feels like this guy has been around for a lot longer than he actually has been ? Can you even call a driver a seasoned veteran after just 3 years of 410 racing ? Love him or hate him, it's nothing less than impressive of what he has accomplished in that short amount of time. 36 wins with the ASCoC in his first three seasons, along with three consecutive championships is nothing to scoff at. Not to mention, a 7th, 4th and 5th place finish at the Knoxville Nationals. His second year of 410 racing found him with the most wins in the nation! Has any other current driver blasted onto the 410 national scene like Reutzel has ? I'm not comparing him to Schatz, but did Donny even have that much success straight out of the gate ? It's unfortunate, but to a lot of us, he hasn't truly proven himself until he runs with the Outlaws full time, even with what he's already accomplished.

I've been watching him in ASCS for years and have been surprised at how well he's done in a 410 so quickly. When Jason Johnson moved up to 410 it seemed like it took awhile for him to really compete. With Reutzel success has come quickly and I've been pretty impressed. I'm assuming he'll try the WoO tour at some point and I'd love to see him do it.

He's the best full time All Stars driver since the 90s in my opinion. He's been especially impressive at WIlliams Grove. I still think the Grove separates the men from the boys and he's got at least 3 wins there which is really impressive.

ASCS Champ in 2015, first Allstar to EVER win at Williams Grove
I would call him a "young seasoned veteran"
