Monarch Motor Speedway Welcomes a Very Special New Family Member!

Garland, TX (10/15/20) by DarinShort.com. Fans that have visited Monarch Motor Speedway the past two seasons know that the track makes every reasonable effort to ensure fans have a good time while they are there. And the quickly growing fan base is evidence of that – no matter what is on the racing schedule from night to night.

It is in that fan entertainment directive, track owners Misty and Shannon Kelton along with Darin Short created a new ‘family member’ to greet racing fans of all ages when they arrive at the track, entertain fans throughout the night, and provide winner’s circle shenanigans with the drivers.

That being said, we unveiled to the fans this new family member last weekend at Saturday’s Sprint Car Bandits series event at Monarch Motor Speedway.

His name is A-MAIN. He is a purple panther and we found him wandering aimlessly and without purpose in the tropical rainforests of Central America and when we approached him about the position, he leaped at the opportunity.

Fans immediately fell in love with him at first glance and it was at that moment, A-MAIN finally realized he found HIS family and true meaning at Monarch Motor Speedway!

A bit more about A-MAIN, he likes to dance to all types of music but prefers upbeat dance and Electronic Dance Music the most. He is single, a Sagittarius, and word on the street is he has already got his eye on a certain Gemini he met after arriving in Wichita Falls. We will have to see how all that shakes out in the future!

A-MAIN will be back to meet and entertain fans of all ages at the next event on the Monarch schedule, which is the October 31st Haunted 100 featuring the Texas Sprint Series invitational event along with great paying season-ending events for the USRA Modifieds, Factory Stocks, Limited Modifieds & Tuners; plus the Mini-Stocks. Take special notice that this event kicks off at 6pm. Complete event details are posted at the top of the track website www.MMSdirt.com and at the top of the track Facebook page.

Kids note that we’ll be Trick-or-Treating at the Haunted 100! But our version is actually called Trick-R-Meet! We’ll have race cars and drivers with candy on display for the kids to get pics with – details on the timing of Trick-R-Meet will be posted by race week so you can plan for it. Bring your costume if you’d like! We have large restrooms to change in/out of if you’d like, or you can change in your vehicle. Costumes aren’t required.

If your school or youth organization would like to discuss scheduling an on-location visit from A-MAIN, please email [email protected] and we’ll get back in touch with you with details. Reminder, we have Birthday Party packages available for groups, which can also include an appearance by A-MAIN.

THANK YOU again to all the race fans this past Saturday for immediately ‘adopting’ A-MAIN into your Monarch Motor Speedway family, and he’s already commented he can’t wait to see you all again Saturday October 31st at 6pm with the running of the Haunted 100!
