Has there been any team changes or equipment changes. He is buried in the lower part of the top ten night after night it seems. Driving too careful this early would be a mistake and I'm sure he is not doing that.
Lawlessness and liberalism equals Hell. NY City,
Detroit, Seattle, Chicago, Minnepolis, etc. We saw it.
Burning hundreds of buildings, a thousand assaults and
dozens of murders. Getting worser and worser.

He hasnt qualified well in the last several races with large fields of cars starting himself deep in the field. He usually doesnt run well at the grove anyway. Slumps like he is having just happen. I look for him to be back up near the front this weekend at lakeside and LOS..

Hard to believe that through June you could have made a case he was just as fast as Larson. He had horrible luck in that 3 race stretch where he lost the point lead and lately as was mentioned above he hasn't qualified well.

Qualifying seems to be an issue from time to time but as someone else mentioned, Williams Grove and Central PA have not statistically been the best tracks for Sweet. Having said that, ever since about Knoxville where he was collected in the wreck on the first night, it seems that they are a little under power vs where they were. Especially on the restarts as it always seemed like Sweet was probably the strongest driver on restarts. Now it seems like he drops a position or two on restarts and has to fight the first two laps to get those spots back. Even when he did qualify bad and had to start 3rd, 4th, 5th in the heat is seemed like he could get up to at least 2nd. Even his wins at Cedar Lake he came from 9th & 12th in those races, Terre Haute he came from 12th to 2nd in 15laps until a cut tire happened. I doubt he is racing conservatively as he does have a number of 2nd place & top 5 finishes, just the wins are not coming in like they were earlier this year.
