Can Larson hit 50 before the end of the year?
If there is enough races left 50 is a nice number.

My buddy and I were talking about this a couple of nights. I don't know if there are enough nights to get to 50 but who knows what other types of cars he is going to driver and what races. I think Portsmouth here in Ohio is having there $100k (not sure if the purse is reduced) to win Late Model DTWC? race and he did mention in victory lane at speedweek there about "how about we come back in Oct for 100k" and the place popped.
We were talking about if anything had been done similar to this and I was a little surprised we had not brought up what Brian Clauson was doing back before his tragic accident. I think at the time in early August he was up to around 30, and probably would have won that night as well. A little different method with the whole Chasing 200 Tour that he was doing but, a lot similarities too with the different types of cars, winning in pretty much everything he raced in. I think the main difference is Clauson won a majority of his races in a non wing car rather than a winged car but I think that year he could have reached 50 as well at the rate he was going.

Oh I know Larson isn't chasing a certain number of races to compete in like Bryan (didn't mean to disrespect his memory by spelling or hurt anyones feelings about it), and said there are differences in the method and reasonings for each. I was more or less talking about it from a performance standpoint where both ran different styles of cars and won in all basically. Not putting either down or saying any one of the two was better than the other as they are both great/phenomenal drivers. Was just saying the last time I have seen something similar (not completely the same but differences) was with probably Clauson. As for the 50wins, I think it would be cool if Larson (and please out of respect for his talent spell his name correctly, sorry devil made me do it and its all in good fun) accomplished that feat especially in the time span he has and the winning percentage he would have.

Funny to read your comment. My wife's maiden name is Larsen and spelling with an O would probably result in a search for my body.

If Kyle chooses to run his (or anybody else's for that matter) midget; there are 7 USAC National Midget races starting in Arizona on 11/13 and going up thru CA. Some great shows and last year at the Hangtown he put on an awesome clinic.
I'm thinking he will be be there. So that could add to his total.

You do realize the "shutdown" is over, right? There are things you can do to vent your hostilities. Seemed like a harmless question/statement. Why do we need to talk about and critique 3rd and 4th place finishes? Someone else won. Let's talk about them since it's their night. When a guy has nearly a 50% win percentage, that's all you want to do is critique the "non-wins?" Jesus, Give it up folks. I thought the Lance/Macri/Larson race at PR was great. And all it turned into was a Larson bashing session. It was a great race and Lance won-----not Larson sucks and got beat.
He could win every single race the rest of the season and some of you will say "well he got swept at PR" Who gives a flying @#$T?

I was sitting at Port Royal one night when Larson was in the blue 1, this was likely after he swept the four crown, was making his way into Nascar but hadn't made it to Cup. He was up and coming, but not the superstar he is today. He timed poorly and started like 21st in the A, he had made it up to 7th halfway through making moves only he can. I think when he got collected in a crash in turn 3. The guy behind me shouts "overrated"
That's just Central PA for you. You can beat them 99 times out of 100, they will always come back with....."well you didn't do shit in the 100th race"

How many more races does he have left on his schedule? There's 5 races next week starting w/ Eldora through to Lernerville that I assume he'll be at, then it gets to be a weekend deal. Does he have more than 20 races left?
