This right here x 1000. My buddy and I would occassionally make the trek to Lincoln from central Pa and the racing was garbage every time. Haven't been back in about three or four years. Overrated isn't the word. I'll take Port Royal over Lincoln or WG seven days a week and twice on Sunday.

I will never ever go to Port Royal again as long as Razor Steve is preparing the track. That place is nothing more than a slip and slide. The worst prepared track in PA week in and week out. They got lucky twice during the 50 weekend and had the track the way it should have been on Thursday and Saturday. Friday was a disaster. Razor Steve needs FIRED.
I will take any track over the Port o potty track = Hard, black, and dry before the heats are even half over every week. They need to rename that place the very, very, slow palace. I would rather watch paint dry or grass grow than to go to see a race where the sprintcars don't act like sprint car. It takes them two time zones to complete a corner on most nights.

Lincoln used to have the best sprint car racing in central PA hands down, slicing and dicing, back and forth battles, wheelstands, always loved going down there. That's changed dramatically over the past 5 years or so, not sure what the issue is, but most races there are snoozers now. IMO Port has far and away the best sprint car racing in central PA nowadays.

The biggest reason for that is the fact that they've been trying to prep the track like Port Royal to appease the drivers who bitch when they gotta get up on the wheel.

Couldn't tell you the last time I watched a good race there. Same as Williams Grove. The best sprint car racing in PA in recent years has been at Grandview Speedway. Always great racing there.

Their first Speedweek show was one of the best races anywhere this season. It can be done if Fred Putney is left to prep the track his way.

To get back on topic, Here is the link from the McMahan wreck last night. Paul spun and Dietrich had nowhere to go. How is that anyone's fault? So the classless asshole himself gets out and gives McMahan the finger while not yet knowing for sure if Paul was okay or not still in his car. What a crybaby DOUCHEBAG. How anyone is still a fan of this guy is beyond me.
