Great article Bill! And thank you for all you do for the series. I have attended so many Invader shows over the years. The series is just different and in a good way. These are usually working class type people who enjoy just being at the track. Very competitive series with less big names but still great history there with racing in these families for generations. Looking forward to the ones remaining and the Fall Haul for 5k! And I also to this day have never understood the dash. I can't even explain it to friends of what it is or why you would try and win other than sheer competitiveness of wanting to win. I suppose your racing for a piece of hardware at least too.
