Great news. I went last year because I thought it was the end of an era, I guess this is one good thing that has come out of the pandemic.

We'll be at the Indy Fairgrounds, for sure. Since Springfield, and more than likely Du Quoin, aren't happening the reprieve of the mile dirt track at Indy for at least one more year and the 65th running of the Hoosier Hundred will be the only Silver Crown racing on 1 mile dirt tracks in 2020.
Looking forward to the trip to Indy.
The scheduled 4 PM EDT hot laps time for the Hoosier will make it nearly impossible for those of us who would like to watch the Indy 500 live in it's entirety given that the starting time for the 500 is 2:30 PM EDT. I understand why Sarge is starting so early but I wish there wasn't a time conflict regarding the two races.

Yeah I went out last year in fear that would be the last.
So now it's back on and even though plane tickets are a go I'm going to sit out.
The thing that gets me is the story say's the track change might not happen in witch case the show will still go on.
I'm going to enjoy it on couch this year in hopes that im flying out to next years.
What a great weekend for the locals 2 champ car races a sprint car / midget race

In my opinion half the fun of going to a Silver Crown race on a mile dirt track is watching pre qualifying practice.

Will be interesting to see the car count for Indy
Low to mid 30's would be ok, if they got 40 entries the series has returned to good shape in spite of all the trouble going on

Thats great news. I always thought it was cool seeing those cars sail down the backstretch with the Fair barns in the background.
Loved it when the race was on Carb Day night.

The crown cars put on a great show at Selinsgrove Sunday night. Hopefully the Bill Holland classic becomes an annual event. It would be nice to see some other tracks get in on it and make it a multi-race swing since most of these teams tow in from a good distance. Bedford, Williams Grove, Port Royal - all big half miles that would be well suited for the big cars.

You used to have a very nice mile track.
There probably is still drug paraphenalia in the infield of the old mile from the July 1974 Ozark Music Festival!
