When watching the race Wednesday night on DirtVision at LaSalle Speedway, I lost the streaming during the runiing of Heat #2 of the stock cars. No matter how I tried I caould never get the streaming video back. Anyone else suffer that problem?

I had some buffering and got kicked off a few times the last time I watched Dirtvision but I watched Sprints on Floracing last night so I can't verify for you. I used to have that problem too until I installed a wifi analyzer app in my phone and went around checking the whole house. I ended up having to purchase a mesh wifi boosting system so if you're using wifi and aren't sure where your signal strength is at I'd check that. Since updating my wifi and having the speed test apps involved that is the first thing I check when I have issues. The other night it was buffering from one particular track and my wifi speed was close to 100Mbps showing an excellent signal. I switched to another race and that one ran flawlessly so I concluded that it was on their end. I'm not sure how they're sending the signal from the tracks for these televised races, if it's the track's internet or some kind of satellite setup. Maybe someone who knows the nuts and bolts can comment on that. I'd be interested in understanding more about how they do these broadcasts and what they're using equipment wise. Obviously it's not an 18 wheeler production trailer like the sports networks use. I know one of the video guys that contracts to the different services so it's not production crews doing the camera work.

Make sure to keep track of Dirtvision's Twitter, they were aware of some issues last night and posted such, then tweeted again when they were supposedly resolved and to refresh the stream.

Floracing has been flawless this season but I have experienced occasional issues on Dirtvision. Their lack of support for platforms like my Roku and some are saying no Apple TV or Android app is baffling but they are content king. I'm not sure why they're so slow to provide connectivity to todays popular devices when even local racing channels that cover the weekly tracks here in Minnesota provide those apps.
