No smoke....I don't think anyone will ever know. He loaded up and left right away. He was fast....but that is very poor sportsmanship!!! He was gone before they hit 20 laps in the feature. Poor pit reporter even mentioned he was scared to find him after last time he interviewed him after he broke. Very disappointed in his actions last night!! Basically crying about what happened....you sometimes have to take the bad it is a very humbling sport!

People on here take everything literally don't they. I think when he was saying it he was playing it up like announcers do. Likely he was in the infield part of the Grove so he likely didn't make it across the bridge where Donny was parked. How often do you see the pit reporter on dirtvison interview someone mid race after they broke? Hardly ever.

The guy walked up and basically put the microphone in Donny's face in the middle of an Open Red of a Feature at Terre Haute where Donny was coming from the back of the field. The reporter is new to this, I get it, but Driver's have more important things to communicate to their team to adjust than answer questions for a rookie reporter on a website.

Yeah, his name is Chase Raudman. He did play by play for USAC/CRA races, he's still learning so there will be awkward moments like what happened at Terre Haute, plus having microphones around these dirt guys is something new. They're not used to it every race either.

First mistake is to listen to a reporter in this day and age. There is no such thing anymore as "REAL TRUTH" when is comes to reporters. The news is all a bunch of opinions with 0 facts because the so called facts they use are Half Truths and are only used to get their agenda out.
I take all reporters with a grain of salt because they all have their own opinions and we all know where and what opinions come from and what they are worth.
Donnie Schatz is a stand up guy who yes as unbelieveable as it may sound is human and has good days and bad days. He is NOT required to give anyone the time of day let alone an interview, for the most part he talks with everyone but god forbid he gets upset or pissed off and wants to be left alone. OMG he went to his trailer and shut the door, lets tie him up and shoot him for being upset or pissed off or drum roll please HUMAN.
Man people really need to lighten up
