Seems he is having more success this year than the last few. I didnt compare stats tho. Runs better against the outlaws than when he was an outlaw.

CJB loses another good one. Shane looked absolutely miserable last year, good to see him have some success.

He had multiple years of top 4 points finishes with the outlaws he is a hellofa driver always has been.

I've never been his biggest fan but the man sure has my respect. Doesn't whine or complain and will drive what's out there. Usually he's fast as hell in the 71 car. Bernie's ride is one fast mother....

Do Bernie's cars usually run Charlie Garret engines? Charlie is a super guy and knows how to make HP.

The Indy Race Parts car had a Rider engine a few years ago when Saldana drove it. The first time I heard Garret mentioned was last night in victory lane. Shane mentioned spending time at Charlie's shop yesterday. It was a nice story.
I thought Shane's career was over. I am glad he has once again found speed. The whole 71 team is made of folks who make it easy to root for them.
