I think we may be beginning to see another massive disruption coming... Pa is going backwards again, the south and southwest are struggling and California is now I think out for the year in most places. The TV news says they pretty much expect the virus to move north through the heartland as it spreads which doesn't leave a lot left... So, is it possible we could find a mover and shaker someplace with the connections to put together a plan B.. as an example, find a track in the middle of no where.. I mean really no where, rent it for the month... Put together a schedule, invite say 15 to 20 teams from different regions, i.e. W.coast, Iowa, bring in the north pole nightmare and his group, Ind/ohio.. Pa and of course the major sanctioning groups.... Invite late models, sprints and go at it... offer each group a guarrantee of races heck even a couple head to head events if you want ie, cal vrs pa or something and then do this....Call a TV network, any of them... most of them are down to rerun's of Leave it to Beaver by now and say I'll give you 5 nights of dirt track racing for 3 weeks.... Maybe those NY suites would say, I don't know what that is, but we will take..... presto... no fans we all watch on TV .. is that to crazy to be considered?

The fella you want to talk to is Tod Quiring. He is the pround new owner of a racy, small-ish dirt track set up beautifuly for TV filming. Husets Speedway, Brandon S.D. The track is a little tight for good late model racing but Jackson Speedway 85 miles up the road sure is up to the task.

I brought up the TV racing idea months ago.
As far as Tod and Huset's since we in SD seem to be kinda on an island when other states get into lockdown mode, if there is no college football, No SDSU, no USD, no Augie, no USF, no DSU, no DWU, no SW MN State, no Mankato, if the weather holds out heck why not schedule races well into October??
If there's a shortage of football and I am guessing there will be a high probability that there is, people will be starved for live sports entertainment.
