34 SPRINT CARS SET FOR BATTLE at 82 Speedway *THIS SATURDAY JUNE 20th* in the Texas Sprint Series!

For those fans unfamiliar with the Texas Sprint Series for RaceSaver IMCA Winged Sprint Cars, the teams are required to pre-enter each event. Pre-entry closed to this event on Wednesday night.

Please make plans now to grab the family, your neighbors, in-laws, outlaws - - - or anyone else that you can and come out to 82 Speedway THIS SATURDAY for a night of great winged sprint car racing...plus a full program for all of the 82 Speedway divisions. The TSS running order is third-out all night long.

Here's complete event details ICYMI:

RACE NIGHT is THIS SATURDAY, JUNE 20th at 82 Speedway for the Texas Sprint Series (TSS), as teams will invade 'The Land of the XL' for the first time in two years! Joining the TSS will be a complete program for the USRA Modifieds, Factory Stocks, Limited Modifieds and Tuners; plus the EcoStocks, EcoMods and Texas Stocks. The TSS will be 3rd in running order all night long.

>Online pre-entry for TSS teams is now open (and mandatory) to eligible drivers at www.raceTSS.com - and continues through Wednesday night of race week.

I like to call 82 Speedway the ‘Land of the XL’ because it features a super-wide multi-groove progressive banking surface that is .26 miles in distance on the pole and exactly a 3/10 mile on the top groove of the speedway. There is even a run-off area around the entire racing surface which helps assist drivers that might develop a problem during a race.

Pit Gates open at 5pm on race day (82 Speedway teams - please arrive early to get registered if you haven’t already at www.82speedway.com), hot laps are slated at 8pm (the sun is very high and hot at 7:30, so we are shifting it to 8) with racing immediately after. Grandstands open at 6:30pm.

TSS drivers meeting and draw cutoff will be at 7pm. 82 Speedway divisions Draw Cutoff/Pit Meeting at 7:15pm (all cars will draw for heat race starting position, all heats earn finishing and passing points, features are straight up), Track Packing will be around 7:55pm & then Hot Laps with Racing to follow immediately.

Grandstand admission Adults $16 (ages 12-64), Kids ages 6-11 $5, Seniors/Military $13. Any outside food/drink cooler brought into main grandstand area (size of 12-pack, no glass containers) are $5 (same as 2019). Pits are $35. Pit access for ages 5 and under is $15. Anyone under the age of 18 entering the pit area must complete an annual minor's release form prior to entering.

If you’ve yet to visit 82 Speedway, it is much closer to DFW than a lot of people think and is NOT the old Paris Speedway southeast of Paris. As a point of reference, including a quick fuel stop, you can get from the intersection of Bass Pro Shops/I-30/Bush in Garland to 82 Speedway in 80 minutes. 82 Speedway is about 15 minutes WEST of PARIS, located on Hwy 82 on the east edge of Petty, TX. The address is 16369 US Hwy 82 Petty, TX 75470.

Here's the purse structure for Saturday June 13th at 82 Speedway. Working RaceCeivers and transponders are required in ALL racing divisions:

In 2020, the Texas Sprint Series has coordinated our schedule with the Sprint Car Bandits series and would like to thank them for handling the scheduling process between all of the tracks in the area so race fans and teams don't have to pick or choose 'which' winged sprint car series to watch - as on any given night in 2020, there are no overlapping Texas Sprint Series or Sprint Car Bandits series events. This way race fans, teams, sponsors and tracks ALL WIN! We'd also like to thank our series marketing partners, as with their help we're able to bring teams, fans and tracks this awesome series! Please click their links below & be sure to thank them for their support!

THANK YOU to all the teams, fans, marketing partners, series workers, track workers, series tracks and vendors for their support of the Texas Sprint Series throughout the years, and we’d like to take a moment to acknowledge our marketing partners at this point going into the 2020 season:

All Import Auto Parts, SCP Polymers, Smiley's Racing Products - The Official Page, Velocita-USA, Sunoco Race Fuels, Henderson Properties - Ron Henderson, Precision Reprographics, Allard Racing Engines, Superior Steering Wheels, Woods Transmission & General Auto Repair and ABC Pick & Pull – and if you’d like to get your business in front of our loyal fans, contact us today. We can help develop an effective and budget-pleasing solution!

Make plans to visit The Land of the XL - 82 Speedway - on Saturday June 20th at 8pm featuring the Texas Sprint Series!
