I have Dirt Vision and Speed Shift TV. Each one is about $40 a month. I enjoy watching the Outlaws on Dirt vision and our local California races on Speed Shift TV. I decided against the $150 Flo Racing membership because I like to have the option to cancel. I am just watching the races online until I actually get to go to the races hopefully in the next month here in California. Hopefully July is the lucky month that our local tracks will open up to fans! So far I have just bought a pit pass to be able to go to my local track, Marysville Raceway Park, to be able to watch a race. Marysville is on private land so they were our first track to legally be able to have races.
Looking forward to the new Golden State King of the
West series schedule!

I was shocked to see this this morning and am pumped. I was wavering about buying SpeedShift for a month on Sunday to get the race from Port Royal and be able to catch some of PA Speed Week. Glad I waited! I generally prefer Outlaws as well, but two things Flo has going for it in my book - 1) Apple TV app 2) the graphics package they have for the All Stars is second to none. DirtVisions to me feels very dated now. I don't like the scroll at the top at all. While I wasn't a fan of the F1 style bar down the left side when NASCAR started using it, it's grown on me and I prefer it now.

DNQ,
DirtVision now allows you to watch the full replay the next morning. From the main webpage, go to Exclusive. They just added that feature a couple weeks ago. It is much nicer to watch the whole race replay rather than the 3 minute recap.
I was already satisfied with Flo-Racing and now they have added more local races. I think the annual pass is a great bargain at $150/year.

Thank you. Thats a big up... I think most of us want to have everything there because we all may want to see certain things of individual interest such as a particular heat to B feature and this gives us control of that..... thanks...
One other thing about this PPV. I still remember putting 10 or 20 bucks each (depending on the decade) for gas, ticket, food, etc... and of course learned the fine art of addition as my family grew.. but for pure value and the opportunity to watch these races all over the place and now, any time you want.... I just have to say I pretty much feel I'm in victory lane every night.... at this rate, if I could manage to hang on another decade or two, Johnny might be interviewing me and the driver at the end of the night
One last thought for everyone.. Imagine. just think of a paramutual betting pool on the side of the screen with a portion going to us/teams/promotor, and of course, Uncle Sam.... and then all the wild bets that could be made. A cracker jack crew like Eldora could come up with some really wild betting lines.... Like who finishes 11th or plus or minus of start vrs. finishing position of 5 selected teams.... I'm starting to think that the Golden era is in front of us.... not behind.....

I believe that Speed Shift is still single race or monthly and flo is for a whole year. They will work something out for anyone who has value remaing on their SS monthly, probably full access to Flo and renew for a year when it expires.
|
I bought SS for the year and Flo for the year . I'm guessing they will just cancel the SS and all will be good. SS was bought for the year but the fee is withdrawn monthly. I was mainly wondering if I'd have to physically cancel or they'd do it for us.

Best bargain on the planet, FLOSports, just got better. I love the PBA qualifying coverage and all the college hockey too. Not sure they can keep it at $150 per year in 2021 but even $200 would be a great deal.

Looks like the Flo/SSTV integration has happened. The Lincoln PA Speedweek race is on Flo with Chet announcing tonight. Amazing value.

Stan.. another thread gave me the solution to that... Last week I had 3 different windows open with live races... It was 1030PM and sadly I was running out of gas if you get my drift.... With flo, its all there the almost right away for replay. That is a big big up over dirt vision and the 3 minute recap that they provide. So, next morning, with my coffee my and Flo wend to Texas and then Marysville and I just skipped through the dead time, watched the heats, feature and everything I felt like someone had made me king for a day.... also, remember with Flo, sometimes you have to scroll up, not down.. they are unique in that way

I never thought I'd say this but I have been watching so many races between Floracing, Dirtvision and NASCAR that I need to take a break and watch something else. Minnesota summers are too short to sit inside every night but that is what I'm doing. Its going to be close to 90 this whole coming week and I need to get away from PPV. I'm actually looking forward to watching some slow moving MLB, anything besides racing for a change. If there is any downside to PPV it's all the indoors time.

Sounds like it's time for an outdoor TV setup ;-)

I hope Flo moves to a per race / monthly subscription model.
|
Yeah it would be nice to at least have those options. You need to buy the entire year subscription just to watch 1 race now. I know the yearly subscription is a great deal for those who stay home to watch the races but for those of us that like to go to the track and only watch at home every once in awhile, it seems ridiculous to have to buy a whole year. Speedshift was my favorite streaming service.

Big news! Will be interesting to see how the subscription fees pan out, especially since I already have a yearly with each.
Fingers crossed Chet will remain in the announcers booth, he is one of my favorites to listen to with the play by play.

Chet is the worst. He's doing a comedy routine instead of announcing. Drop the hammer on this clown.
