Dirt Nation™ will spotlight 2006 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Champion Earl Pearson of Jacksonville, FL. Pearson will come on to talk about his fantastic 2006 season that included his third championship in as many years, a World 100 win and a switch in teams, now driving for Bobby Labonte Racing. "The Hurricane" drove the Dunn-Benson Ford Motorsports owned, Larry Wallace Engines powered Mastersbilt #1 sponsored by Lucas Oil, Dunn-Benson Ford and Sunoco Race Fuels during the 2006 season.
Dirt Nation™ will also spotlight World of Outlaws Sprint Car driver and Mean 15 member Joey Saldana of Brownsburg, IN. The "Brownsburg Bullet" will join the show to talk about his 2006 season, his resent trip to New Zealand, his new crew chief and what lies ahead for 2007. Saldana drives the Kacey Kahn Racing owned Speedway Engines powered JEI #9 Sponsored by Mopar, curb Records, Dodge, Sage Fruits, Vitamin Water and Valvoline.
Making a first time visit to Dirt Nation™ will be engine builder Bill Schlieper of Pro Power Engines. Schlieper will join the show to discuss the open engine versus crate engine debate. Schlieper returns from PRI were he spearheaded a discussion on alternatives to Crate Engines in circle track racing.
Making a return visit to Dirt Nation™ will be the "Wisconsin Wildman" Dan Schlieper of Sullivan, WI. Schlieper, the 2003 World 100 winner, ran an outlaw schedule in 2006 that saw him competing with many of the regional and national touring series. Schlieper drives the Dan Schlieper Racing, Pro Power powered, CJ Rayburn Chevrolet Monte Carlo #9 sponsored by Miller Brothers Coal, Hawkeye Trucking and Pro Power Racing.
Also making a return time visit to Dirt Nation™ will be DIRT Northeast Series and Sanctioning Director Cory Reed. Reed will join the show to talk about the newly released 2007 Advance Auto Parts Super Dirt Series schedule that includes some new venues and weekend sanctioned events.
Making a visit to Dirt Nation™ will be street stock racer Steve Brandt Sr. of Bartonville, IL. Brandt is forming an organization and website called Circles of Hope to help with special needs individuals. Brandt has been doing fundraisers for several years now and carries the Easter Seals as his sponsor on his street stock. Brandt hopes to be able to give guidance and help others with special needs fundraising with his new organization and the help of dirt racers. Brandt will join the show to explain how he hopes to help those with special needs.
