Whyyyyy do they always have to go so over the top. Do a 10k to win and they'd prob turn a decent profit instead of more pie-in-the-sky races that never happen.

Since it's all make believe, why settle for just a make believe $10k to win? The condition is called delusions of grandeur, not delusions of somebody slightly cooler .
