Does anybody have a list of tracks in Minnesota that run mini sprints (600cc). Looking to try and get one together for next year, but I have no idea where they run. Thanks.

I used to work with a guy that raced 600cc's in northern Minnesota. There was or is a track in Greenbush I guess.

If I'm not mistaken I think the program that ran up in Greenbush isn't running anymore. One time I talked to a guy who had a mini sprint and his opinion was that he could put together and IMCA deal at about the same cost. If they are still running in Greenbush that's way up in northwest Minnesota so if you're located near the Cities or anywhere in the southern part of the state you might want to consider another option. Depends on how far you're willing to travel and how much you want to spend.

A couple 3-4 years ago a guy would bring his mini sprint down to Jackson and park it out by the ticket gate and he also ran it around the track a couple times. I was thinking he was from SW Minnesota and thought they used to run them over that way? Prbly the best thing to look into at that level would be the outlaw karts they run down at english creek in knoxville, they look like a mini sprint car and put on an awsome show.

Thanks for the input. I might have to look into the IMCA deal instead. It's almost impossible to find a track to run mini sprints with out having to drive 4-6 hours. I lived in Arizona for a couple years before moving back north and minisprints are huge down there. 4-5 tracks within a 2 hour drive that ran them almost weekly. Never raced one, but worked on one with a guy and his kid. They looked like a lot of fun for not a lot of money and I became very familiar with the car (set-up, and maintaining it). I guess the set-up part can't be a to much different for a full size as far as the car reacting to what you did.
