Only problem is, is that it is a non social event. You can't go but you can watch it on the CUSHION for $24.95. Go to their site for more info. No drivers are entered at this time. Bad news for me however as I have a Satellite dish with limited band width.

Hope this happens, but I doubt it since Selinsgrove will still be in the "red phase" which is stay at home essintal business only. Also it is not this Saturday, but May 9th.

Selinsgrove Speedway (Snyder County) officially goes to "yellow" next Friday, May 8th, a day before the race. But large gatherings of more than 25 people are still prohibited so not sure how it will work. What's the law and current status in the states of Iowa, Missouri, North and South Carolina With regards to limits on gatherings?

I think the argument is that it's a business, not a gathering. Fans make it a gathering.

Makes sense. Port Royal listening? No Outlaws at WG on May 16th. Get a race in to work out logistics, and have a huge PPV for the Weikert Memorial.

Iowa has opened 77 of 99 counties I believe. Open the rest May 15. Open counties can have no open bars, movie theaters or live entertainment (concerts, etc). I read that those restrictions will be lifted for those 77 counties May 15. But the source on that last info was not what I consider real reliable. Not sure if Marion county is among the 77 or not.
I checked and Marion county is 1 of the 77 that have been partially reopened.

Snyder county is not in the red as of 5.9.20. If it is nice it will happen either Saturday or Sunday. Thanks to all involved!
Let's go Sprint Car Racing!

Being in the yellow still only means no more gatherings than 25. Late models are running tonite in wisconsin and they are under stay at home orders till May 26tth so as long as you race with no fans no matter what color you fall in you can race! But in reality how long can the local tracks run with little or no fans which is what the forseeable future holds in any state you live in!

Juniata County hasn't opened up yet Snyder county has and this doesn't make any sense to me. Our worthless Governor still hasn't given us the caution light. What does make sense to these power hungry governors? We are still on red. I am glad we have a common sense Representative elected. He has been all over our Governor Wolf in sheeps clothing to reopen Juniata county.

Different states have different restrictions under stay at homes, and colors only apply to Pennsylvania.

Colors apply in Pa but there are quite a few states that have 3 levels of openings and yes they may not be color coded they may be 1,2,3 or a,b,c instead of red, yellow, green but its all basically the same principle.

Selinsgrove fb says they have reached their quota for number of teams. Anybody know what the quota is and who is going to be there? So far I've got Dietrich, Wolfe, Brown, L. Wagner, Nouse, Dewease.

I know three are planning Knoxville to Selinsgrove double headers (48,24,55) and a couple on this list entered and have not heard if approved. But I'd say this is a rough estimate give or take a few names

So that means that those teams MAY be arriving around 5-6 pm Saturday if they leave by 12pm Knoxville, but will lose an 1 hour of time. Good Luck to that tiresome trip.

Selinsgrove tweeted that Sammy was confirmed to be running but the Speedlab team tweeted they were staying locked up till the June 12th WoO show. My question then, what the heck would he be driving?
