Not being a smartass----I seriously want to know. Did this get ok'd with Pritzker or is this something they are going to propose to him? When asked about fall sports for Illinois high schools, he said he was doubtul they could be held with crowds. I am not sure if this has been cleared and approved or they are just showing us their proposal.

I haven't taken a deep look at it yet, but the mission statement in the very first graphic they put up says that the coalition was put in place to work with Gov Pritzker.
The graphics that follow outline an 8 step program towards full reopening with 25%, 35%, 50% and 65% capacity limits. Most motorsports venues would be thrilled to sell 50% of their available seats most nights.

Yes, welcome to the USSA. Pritzker is in the same catagory as PA's Wolf.

Our state slogan used to be "Land of Lincoln" Now it's "Illinois: where our governors build our license plates"

My son and I were just discussing the Outlaw show in Knoxville the 2nd weekend of June. IF, they allow fans, we decided we are going to go. As many have stated, Knoxville would be the ultimate social distancing opportunity to watch live racing. Could open the backstretch. Could have attendants at the restrooms limiting the # of people. No concessions----allow fans to carry in food and beverage. (assuming state law allows)
The main issue would be getting people to follow the rules.

Not Blago, he was out here in Colorado, about 8 miles from where I live.
Poor guy had a great view of the foothills around Red Rocks park.

2 day show at Beaver Dam 6/5-6/6. Should be a good show. One of the silver linings to this is that a lot of the replacement shows are happening at great sprint car tracks.

Our governor in Minnesota is taking it slow as well but I'm fine with that. Those guys have access to more information than I ever will and as someone at the age and health condition I'm considered high risk I will hang back and see what happens. PPV is more racing than I can handle and politicians can't be trusted when they are getting tested daily and having their handlers do everything for them. When they're back out shaking hands and kissing babies I'll believe them. I am considered high risk if I get this shit and my live old ass means a lot more to me than missing a season of racing. I missed a few seaons when I was in the Navy and it had no lasting effect, I'm still a racing fan. You young folks go out there and mingle and we shall see by July how that's going to work out.
