BLACK FLAG THIS SHIT NOW! Cancel the cartoon racing now!!! Its terrible to watch and the drivers who participate are frustrated and upset there not really racing but instead playing baby games on a video and the drivers know its not real and feel the have a freebie to get pissed. EVERYONE! STOP WATCHING THE STUPID BABY TIME CARTOON CRAP and shut down us losing drivers and giving these money grubbing networks more money. You think they care about losing drivers??? Ridiculous.

This so called cartoon racing has probably done more for the popularity of Sprint car racing than anyone could imagine... live weekly races on fox, people are starving for something and at least the sport is getting great exposure right now. As far as the chosen one... he fucked up period

I am no way condoning what he said. Napcar lost me a long time ago with all the rule changes. The only reason I remotely followed napcar was because of Larson, now that is gone so am I. I will not watch napcar again! That ship has sailed! He did wrong and he knows that.
Let's go Sprint Car Racing!
Knoxville - Best Track In the USA!
Eldora - 2nd Best Track in the USA!

You ever listen to today's garbage music ? People of color use the word consistently. Record labels don't have issues with keeping them. Double standards ? If your of color your allowed to say the n***er word.

No racing for most of the summer will soften the image loss over time.
It is his final year with Chip anyway... bet Stewart/Haas sign him later this year and stick him in the Haas ride.

I'm not sure he'd be put in the 41 so quickly. Cole Custer's pops is tied in super tightly with SHR and Haas F1. Like COO of Haas F1 and a President of SHR tight. I don't think he's going anywhere.

It's all fine and dandy until this cartoon racing becomes the ultimate thing. When people start saying it's even better than real racong... We got a problem. Those wont ever be real race seeking fans. Exposure is good but some are going over the top on this IRACING bit. I find it annoying and a bit concerning but others dont.

Finley Farms came out and said they still support Kyle. He may be running a lot of dirt this year.

Plan B sales along with Finley Farms. His dirt track team will survive. Now whether that's with him in the seat or keeping Macedo who knows. As expressed to a friend seemingly wanting the death penalty for Kyle, I feel it wasn't malicious in any way but extremely insensitive. Obviously an ongoing issue he needs to over come. But I am for forgiveness and second chances... but man this world loves to hate and forgiveness seems a long ways off for some yet. I completely understand sponsors who can freely go support anyone else but hating on the guy on a personal level seems excessive.

I work for a Fortune 500 company making really good money. I spend many hours every week on high level conference calls, I would expect to be fired for using that word (or a slew of many others) whether on purpose or accident while on a call. Part of bringing yourself into a high level position, whether as a race car driver or in the "real world", is how you carry yourself.
At the ease in which Kyle spoke that word, it is probably a word that is ingrained in his everyday life and it was bound to happen at sometime in his career. $.02

I am not a fan of Kyle Larson, he seems very arrogant to me. What he did was completely unacceptable. But I have heard many younger people call eachother that word, no matter what their color is. That doesn't make it ok but what I'm saying is I don't think him using that word automatically makes him hate African-Americans, it might just be something the young kids are saying now. I liken this to when I was in school, the popular thing was to make fun of someone's sexual orientation, that didn't mean that any of us hated homosexual people (at least I didn't) it was just something that was said. That wasn't ok back then and for sure would be a huge no-no today. If he had yelled "hey f ****t", I think there would be the same backlash today.
Again this is coming from someone who is not a fan of his but I give him credit for taking responsibility. When I saw the clip last night, I thought there was no way anyone could prove it was him, he could've just denied it, claimed it was a glitch on the game, his microphone broke, whatever. But he didn't. He needs to understand this isn't ok to say and an example needs to be made out of him to show that it's not ok. Times have changed though and everyone needs to keep that in mind. I remember reading an article from back in the late 90s where Jeff Gordon and Dale Jarrett tangled and got into it on pit road and Dale Jarrett said to Jeff Gordon "You drive like a god-damned n****r". Granted this wasn't on TV and the person who wrote the article is the only one who claimed he heard it, maybe it wasn't true. But there wasn't another word about it.

Well said. I believe in judging the whole book & not a few paragraphs. Like you & majority I feel it wasn't malicious but still wrong. Hopefully this wakes him up for the right reasons but I can say, he is one of the last people I thought would say the word in any manner. Not because I'm a fan, but because of the way he conducts himself. He has always been someone that is respectful of everyone at the track, takes time for all fans, and he doesn't seem like a person that would hate anyone for any reason, let alone the color of ones skin.
Seeing some of the replies to his apology was a little disheartening. Some of the people of all races you could tell were just replying because they saw him trending & had already labeled him prior without actually learning about him first. Most of the replies are from people who probably did not know who Kyle Larson was until today. I think in time, with the right sincere actions he can recover but it will take time.

It would be a shame to see a small team like Leavine Family Racing lose Bell to Ganassi, but it is nice to see Larson retire to the World of Outlaws while he is still young enough to figure Williams Grove out one day.
They don't even know how to spell sprint car

Larson is done with big time racing - period. Sad partly because if you (and I don't cuz the stations don't play it) listen to cRap music during the day it is sort of a word you hear all the time, so it becomes the norm so why wouldn't it accidentally pop into your language when speaking once in a blue moon. Of course here in the midwest, the only thing you hear on FM radio is rock music, new rock music, classic rock and very old rock (60s).
The othert subject, vrtual racing/iracing/eracing!!!!!!!!!!!!!Have to pay me to watch it. Saw a WoO race from ???Eldora I think a couple weeks ago, watched a lap, wondered why the race was in such low definition video, then realized what it was---an sort of arcade game.
Lawlessness + liberalism = HELL - NYC, Detroit, Chicago,
Seattle, LA Who the H runs those cities.

Carson Macedo is a really sad innocent victim in this deal. He seems to be a good kid & a hell of a driver. Probably gonna lose that team due to something not in any way of his doing. Hopefully he can find a good ride somewhere else.
Larson will come back in due time, but he may never again have big corporate backing at his disposal. Hope for his sake he invested some of that $ he has earned.

Who cares. Macedos a douchebag.

Why is it a shame for Leavine to lose Bell? That team sucks. It's just a stepping stone to develop Bell at the cup level. That's exactly what's supposed to happen. Basically I'm trying to figure what the f*ck you're talking about.

The best article I have read yet on the actions and consequences.

Realistically, he has probably run his last NASCAR race for awhile, at least as far as quality teams go. Ganassi is too big of an organization to let that go. If they don't distance themselves not only will they lose Kyle's sponsors (all but guaranteed anyway) but sponsors from other cars, and their teams outside of NASCAR such as Indycar could be lost as well.
Most likely you will see Larson racing sprints more often going forward. The real victim here could end up being Carson Macedo though.

Why for Macedo? what am I missing?

You're missing the fact that this is gonna cost Larson millions of dollars. Thus he would probably not be able to afford fielding a WoO team.
