If you are your own god, then why do you even care. Just protect yourself and forget the rest. What is it inside a human mind that tells you to be a decent person, do good and care for others. I guess it is our government. The answer is this God you speak so slowly of without knowing anything about him. Like the virus many of you are experts on but you really dont know because no one knows. All opinions. Bunch of bstrawsers out there that seem to have fact and opinion mixed up.

Don't bring me up in this converstation. I have said nothing about the virus at all on this board and will continue with my silence.
I do however feel very sad that some people are blaming GOD, he didn't cause this virus.
Sorry if I make you nervous with facts about local PA racing. They are facts...they are not opinions. Sorry to dissapoint you.
Let's go Sprint Car Racing!
Rico - 9 wins
Donny - 0 wins That is right the big fat zero!
Knoxville - Best Track In the USA!
Eldora - 2nd Best Track in the USA!

Irresponsible is engaging in the sin of this world and not trusting in God. If we would clean up our act on this planet we wouldn't be in this situation. I can trust in God to watch over me if I go in public and use common sense. Just because you dont understand and have so much fear doesn't mean you need to try to push your fear on me. I will stay home if I am not feeling well in the slightest out of respect but I am not afraid to go and be around others if I am doing well. If you are then stay home, and do your best to protect your loved ones.

Please spare us the sermon. Before the Age of Science, nobody knew that viruses even existed

No matter what people think/do, you can,t change history nor should we try (IMO) to apply today’s norms/morals to what happened hundred(s) of years ago. End of history/political stuff.
Now let’s all continue to fight this virus. Hunker down and stay safe! Local grocery stores are reserving 6am to 7 am for >60 shopping.

Nobody's trying to change history. Just end glorification of Confederacy
I'm done on this subject, thanks

I care because I read the garbage you are spewing, and am thankful that I do not lean on a crutch when the going gets tough. I know enough to know enough. Figure that one out when you go back to your pulpit.

Fact of the matter is that there is no "God", never was and never will be. If you choose to believe that there is an invisible man that is all good all knowing and can fix things as long as you pray to it then more power to you, its a free country, you're allowed to believe what you want to believe but not free from ridicule. In the mean time those of us that do not have the answers will rely & trust on the scientists, medical experts, and the people who will actually find the answers. Because simply getting on your knees folding your hands and saying words does not do anything, it just gives you the illusion that you may have control over something that you have 0 control over.
Also, if anyone is offended by my "personal" no God comment, I am not saying that you should not believe in whatever religion you believe in or have 0 faith. That is your choice and you are free to do so, its just my belief that I have come to grips with. However, if you think that this thing will get solved just by praying then I disagree with you. The people that figure out a solution, treatment, cure, test, etc figured it out by their own will and studying science and things that were fact are the reason this gets solved. Not something that was created as a way for people to get over our fear of death or as a tool to control groups of people.

The next crisis is that Strawser syndrom is contagious. There seems to be a lot of people on here confusing fact with opinion. It seems to be spread over the internet. That is worse than personal contact.

Actually, I dont need to wait on answers as you do. I already have a great understanding of what is going on (and this is just minor compared to what is coming). You dont want to hear about this though. If you do I would be happy to share. Do you really think you are here just by chance. All the order in this creation is just by chance. As much as I disagree with some of you, I dont believe any of you are that gullible to believe such nonsense. Order doesnt come from confusion. If it does give one example.

I'm here because my parents had sex one night (most likely on their 6th anniversry if I do the math) and sperm from my dad got to one of my mom's eggs. They got here because their parents did the same. Prior to that it was all because of the big bang and history has shown time and time again where people like yourself who do not have an understanding of something, try to put your "God" theory into it, science time and time again has said "well no, it is actually because of....." Hence the world not created in 7 days, not even the universe, woman not made from a man's rib, the sun does not revolve around the Earth, etc. Matter of fact the top 5 elements in the universe are the top 5 elements in humans which means that we are not specials even though we like to think we are.
And you don't have any understanding of what is going on unless your in the medical, biology, disease, or chemistry area. Spouting off about belief systems written by imperfect humans who stated they were "holy" and wrote it down in one language only to be translated multiple times, redone into another testiment, retranslated again does not mean you know facts and that does not make you any better than Strawser. Religion is faith, you hope that what you believe is true and you have no proof hence the faith thing. And no I don't want to hear about what you say because with how wacko & cryptic you are talking you remind me of a David Koresh, Marshall Applewhite, or Charles Manson type. I'll listen to someone in the science community before I listen to a blowhard

Existential philosophy being discussed on Hoseheads? Of all the havoc that COVID-19 has wreaked upon society so far, this, this I tell ya, has gotta be the most insidious. Hahahaha.

There are no facts in the big band theory. No scientific evidence. Read what it is. I did and have tried to believe it but it is so far fetched it makes me laugh. I have had geology classes in college, four years of chemistry and science classes, 4 years of calculus, and all the rest of the civil engineering classes with a 4.0 GPA. Whose the blowhard. I have forgotten more than you will ever know and it still isn't enough to convince me to believe science THEORIES over biblical truths. In fact it's just the opposite. Everytime one of my science books cant explain something, I find scripture that can. Just strengthens faith. By the way: of course the sun doesnt revolve around earth. Christians dont think that. Science cant explain many things like order out of chaos or the ice age just to name a few. Another fact is the new testament is not the old testament redone. Shows your lack of knowledge in all areas. I enjoys science and the fact that laws of nature exist and we can use them for a better understanding but I also know why they exist and why the are perfectly consistent. Certainly not just by some random chance.

Yeah I'm calling major bullshit on all the bullshit you just stated. One there is plenty of evidence to support a big bang (not band) theory. Plus if you had all the credentials that you say you have you wouldn't be able to make your first claim so now you're just being a denier & a liar. And your claim of forgetting more than any one person would know without actually knowing them proves your're just a narcissist piece of crap that is just trying to pass their beliefs as facts. If scripture helps you sleep at night and you find "your" answers that is fine, just stay out of the science classroom.
And yes Christians did believe at one point that earth revolve around sun, as a matter of fact they burned people at the steak in Rome for saying opposite. Basically Galileo had to say know the difference between how to get to heaven & how the heavens go. Science has explained the ice age, which disproves your geology class & GPA and you would know universe is 13.5billion years old. And I never said new came from old or old came from new, just that everything clwas written by people & retranslated without ever having to prove any of it.
Believe whatever you want to believe no one will stop you just don't lie. I will believe things proven by science that are true whether people want to believe in them. Because they have been challenged by other scientists, mathematically proven, challenged again and still proven.

I think the big band theory went out of style back in high school when batttles of the band went out of popularity. You'd think a guy whose bragging about his 4.0 GPA would proof read his posts.

Depends on where he got his 4.0. Plenty of quack universities around. Just reading his post reminds me of "The Leader" episode from The Simpsons when Homer got the family to join a cult lead by The Leader. In the kids schools the answer to every question was The Leader. It was a loose reference to the Heavens Gate people. As long as he answered his questions with his leader, he probably did get a 4.0

There is no scientific proof of any of it. It is not fact, hence the word theory. Look up the definition. In fact states right in science books that it is only theory and that other ideas probably enter into the explanation. I know because I have read and studied. Open up a science book and read about either subject. By the way, I dont think the university of north Dakota is a quack. That is my point, educated on science and religion and the evidence is very strong that both need considered together and all of these topics become much clearer. Look into it a little bit. You might be surprised what you find you didnt know.

If the by chance isn't hard enough to over come it's the question of where did matter originate is. Even science says matter can not be created nor destroyed. So where did all this matter come from to create this big Bang or band or whatever theory. 3.9 GPA from a quack university probably because I also do not proof read my posts since we're all keeping track now.
This is a pretty sad thread for even hoseheads standards. Hope we can get back racing soon and we all find the truths we're looking for. Might have to move to PA if they keep racing and no one else does.

Well you just proved that you didn't get a 4.0 in any science classroom as you got the definition of Scientific Theory wrong as you got hung up on the word theory. In Science it is a different meaning which if you ever went to a class at a University, you would have learned scientific theory is a coherent group of propositions formulated to explain a group of facts or phenomena in the natural world and repeatedly confirmed through expirment or observation. And again you would have learned scientific method which is observe, hypothesis, experiment/test, data analysis, conclusion and in order for a theory to be published it has go before other scientists who try to disprove it but can't . You are not educated in science, just someone who tries to pass beliefs on as fact (like someone else we know on here) and if you want to believe them that is your right, just stay out of the science class room. And I have looked into everything and you saying you are educated in it does not make you actually educated. I will trust people like Einstein, Stephen Hawking, Richard Dawkins, and countless others than some blowhard on a racing website that tries to pass his beliefs on as facts. You have wasted my time and we have wasted this boards time, go spew your rhetoric in a college square someplace like all the other crazies, sorry all for even getting into this with this whatever he is but hopefully it provided entertainment.

They didn't have a choice. It wasn't like they rethought their decision and decided it was a bad idea. The Governor's order yesterday made it mandatory, period.
