Take it for what it is. I just cancelled my subscription to Dirtvision since the Outlaws postponed there upcoming schedule. They said there are still 14 other events on the schedule during that time so they will not issue refunds. Who really knows how many of those events will even take place. But they are adamant about no refunds!

They're full of shit and still seem to be dense in regards to how they treat their customers. Assuming they're specifically referencing the April 9 WoO restart date, the 14 they claimed has already dropped to 13 since Attica canceled next Friday already.
Australia has instituted a ban of events over 500 people starting Monday, so that's going to likely remove the 3/21 Valvoline Raceway broadcast, the 3/28 Toowoomba broadcast, the 3/28 Perth Motorplex broadcast, and possibly the 4/4 Valvoline Raceway broadcast.
The WoO Late Models are supposedly monitoring the situation - I'd be shocked if they raced before April 9 given that the sprints have postponed until that date. Regardless if they do, Illinois has banned events with greater than 1,000 fans until May 1, so that for sure clips the Illini 100 (April 3/4). That leaves two other dates (one in TN, one in SC) that may happen, but still are not guaranteed.
The remainder are Attica and Williams Grove weekly dates. As mentioned, Attica already canceled next week. Williams Grove seems dead set on racing, which is baffling to me at this point, but the two combine for an additional five dates at this timeframe.
So they've claimed 14, in reality right now it's probably 7 given the local mandates, and in all likelihood, wil be fewer. I don't see this going away. And that's not even mentioning spring weather, which can easily cancel any track that does attempt to race.
DV again with their heads jammed in the ground. It's a shame. It is not difficult to give a half a shit about your customers - try it!

I'm going to give you my opinion. I am going to happily pay the $40/month for the next month or 2. There are a ton of businesses and industries that are suffering mightily right now, and if I can do my part to keep Dirtvision afloat during this time, I'm going to do so. I would love to watch this service again soon when WoO racing resumes.
If you think about it, you were going to spend the $40 anyways. Let's keep this business in business as it has been the best thing to happen to WoO racing, probably ever!
I would like to do my part so DV can ride this out.

I concur 100 %. It was not very long ago that there was not any video, just an unrealizable audio broadcast. I think Dirtvision does a great job, and they have kept very reasonable pricing while drastically expanding coverage of events. No reason to be cheap because of the current situation which is out of their control.

Thank you for continuing to provide great coverage of dirt track racing, Dirtvision. These are unfortunate and unprecedented times in our world, and I will gladly continue to pay my monthly fee that helps support your employees who rely on their paycheck just like the rest of us do. Look forward to you continuing to provide the great services you do once we're past this mess and dirt track racing is back up and running. Can't wait to watch weekly from the Grove and Knoxville!

I don't have any problem with them keeping my $40, I'd prefer they just suspended accounts until racing has returned to normal.

Was thinking about this the other nigth and wanted to update it. Guessing they got to broadcast one or two of the 14 events they used as justification?
It's fascinating utility companies, student loan companies, mortgage companies, etc. making changes to help their customers during this process, and DirtVision instead responds to failing to make any adjustments at all, outside of hasitly thrown together replays and eSports.
Would be nice to see DV take a better approach towards its customer base and do something instead of continually billing them while providing something vastly different than what they signed up for. Simply suspending accounts until racing continues is such a simple and fair solution.

VERY simple solution, as found on thier web site. We know its gonna be a while before racing resumes, so sign back up then. I did this after the World Finals last year, and picked it back up in February. And once all racing shut down a few weeks, I did it again. Very easy and painless.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. To cancel your Fast Pass, please email [email protected]. Cancellation takes up to two business days to complete and will take effect during the next billing cycle. You must submit your cancellation request to [email protected] at least 2 business days before your subscription renews. You must include your username and the email address associated with your DIRTVision account in your email.

Already done, of course. Just know there are plenty of people that won't even realize what is happening and will continue to be billed. What if this goes on for months as many anticipate? Is it really OK for DV to to potentially bill hundreds of dollars to customers without providing the thing those customers actually signed up for? I'm talking racing action - not watch parties or eSports. It's shameful behavior.

This is the same business model other compainies are using. The ones that have deceicd to suspend billing (AMC A-list) sent an email telling the customer that. Bottom line it is the consumer job to know what they are paying for and receiving. It's called personal responsability.

This is a very poor comparison. That's you choosing or not being able to use one of your possessions, not a company failing to provide the service you signed up for.

This is basically my point - AMC understands that they were not providing the service that their customers signed up for and took the responsible approach and suspending billing.
I don't disagree with your last point at all - at the end of the day, it is each person's responsibility to monitor these things. However, I still think the service provider can be fair to its customer base, which DV is not doing in this case.

I canceled my DV subscription last year, it now appears I have been completely deleted. My login and password no longer works. Guess I'll start a new account.

Pretty sure they required you to use an email address as oppsed to a username starting earlier this year as they transition to an app - this was a requirement. I remember logging in earlier this year and was prompted to enter an email and the above notice was given. Perhaps you have been away for so long that you didn't get that notice?

I'm so hard up for sprint car racing I'm looking forward to tonight's iRcacing event. I have a bad feeling that some of these guys are going to embarrass themselves.

I've been enjoying the VAULT. After watching the iRacing last night I spent a bunch of time exploring old races. Cool stuff. As a Pittman fan it was super cool watching the final race at Volusia when he nailed down the title in 2013. Very different sees Sides and McMahon as a competitive drivers out in front of a big race.
