Please post all track prep complaints here, regardless of the track, state, sanctioning body or type of racing. If you have something positive to say keep it to yourself or post it on another thread where credit can be recognized for the efforts you appreciate that allow you to enjoy this sport.
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

It was Saturday July 27th, 1991. Eldora Speedway. The Kings Royal. The summer of my 19th year. Earl put too much water on the track, yes I said too much. The groove barely moved halfway up the track as Kenny Jacobs made a futile attempt at tracking down King Kinser in his Leon Wintermyer #1w. But then I locked eyes with an older woman in the concession stand and soon we retreated out to the dimly lit parking lot. I never thought this would happen to me.....

Those Late Models coming out of one of the turns last night at East Bay were hitting a rut and getting all four off the ground last night. Must have gotten a lot of rain creating soft spots as their track is usually pretty good.
I have seen good and bad track conditions at pretty much every track I have ever been to which is around 50 or so. Track prep is like farming, look at the soil, check the weather and prepare accordingly. Sometimes their educated guess is right on and other times they guess wrong and these days everyone knows by the next morning. There ain't enough money to convince me to prep a track. Too unforgiving of a job.

This one time, I went to a favorite restaurant and ordered steak. It wasn't cooked to perfection, but it was still steak.

with drivers now required to have transponders,so they dont have to hire score keepers, raceceivers so they dont have to hire a guy to line up cars-we are now requesting all drivers to urinate ON the race track when needed-if its dry-slck ,it's your fault
