Corki Badami, Benny Cardello, and Ross Distefano three names remembered in the history of Kansas City Racing.
Corki a racer himself was the son of Boo Boo Badami, the Boo Boo came from people Booing him so much for winning all the time.
Benny Cardello was a relative of Vito Callia a legend in the Kansas City area.
Ross Distefano was the Grandson of people that owned Olimpic Stadium when it was a baseball field and some of the local racers talked them into lettting them race on it just for fun. They found out more people came to the races than the baseball games so they turned it into a race track, the rest is history.
This was the beginning of racing as we know it now, listen to the stories these three men have to tell about the way it was, I think you will like it, enjoy.
