Does anyone know why KKM top drivers are heading elsewhere? Larson,Bell, and see Logan Seavey is running w Kevin Swindell. I know Boat an bell are in the sprint deal together just wondering why all of a sudden these guys are leaving. Looks like KKM reloaded though with Cannon Macintosh, and Buddy. Any idea if Buddy will be running sprints with KKM? Sorry for typos.

When I heard about Larson and Bell leaving I didn't think much of it. Figured they were big boys now and making the money to do their own thing. Not sure about Seavy. Its interesting though because Rico stayed and he also has the money for his own midget program. Little odd. But maybe it's part of the "Toyota Developental program." I'd say Larson and CBell are pretty well developed by now.

Haha yah I'd have to agree they both have seemed to develop well in their careers.

Buddy will drive for Kunz and pursue Rookie of the Year honors with the USAC NOS Energy Drink Midget National Championship in 2020. That will be priority #1. He will also drive the Ed Neumeister 11N 410 sprint car for 15 - 20 races mostly in Ohio and Indiana.
He seems like a nice kid. Good luck Buddy !

Funny but I thought the same thing and you beat me to the punch......I am assuming it was just time for the next new crop to come to the KKM team and Toyota,

I would say its more of a development thing as well but I do remember a lot of people crying and complaining last year on some Facebook groups about the Chili Bowl becoming a "joke" because the best drivers were in the best cars. Some people were complaining about Larson & Bell driving KKM cars and that they should be expected to win, it was almost unfair that they were driving those cars that would be illegal in any other race, they used traction control, they put all this money into the cars that makes it impossible for others to compete, blah blah blah. Some of it might be that they are just tired of people complaining about it and want to try to race in someone else's equipment just to shut some people up but unfortunately people will figure out a way to complain about it no matter what.

with the exception of rico, and he isnt even fulltime, KKM is really not the powerhouse team anymore that they once were. i guess we will see if there equipment is just that good, or if bell larson and seavey made it look good !

The majority of the drivers in KKM cars.I've heard are renting them.Seavey will more then likely be back in a KKM car during the 2020 season. Cause the Swindells only run midgets during the winter.

i know KKM rents rides for chili bowl and select races. Seavey is not returning to KKM however, he is gonna be racing a USAC sprint car for reinbold-underwood motorsports in 2020

You obviously didn't go to many midget shows this year. Everytime they go to a track they have to be in the conversation of favorites to win.
It is true that there are more teams at thier level now, but you still have to beat them.

Interesting that Zeb Wise will be in a KKM ride for the Chili Bowl and not his usual 39BC ride.

Not all but many of the top cars are rented for the Chili Bowl. The rule book is thin the payout of $10K to winner and the coveted Driller.Over 300 teams and the timing makes it a sell out with many of the top drivers in all venues wanting to race.KKM cars are top notch and the service that comes with the ride really helps. Sammy and Kevin ruled for years and Sammy still can but similar to the Knoxville Nationals you need to be good every time you pull onto the track.I was told what the fee for a KKM was and it was alot more than the winners share. It seems like in certain rides you pay for damage and with over 50 flips there usually is some.I would estimate the one of Chli Bowl cars cost about the same as a good 410 motor. I dont know if KKM is provided with Toyota motors or rents them but midget motors are not cheap.I was told the winged micros are pretty close in time but dont have the star power that the midgets draw.Lots of work to make the track and cost and to rent the facility but it looks profitable for the outside looking in.
