Is this the former Outlaw who grew up Posse but spent last season as an All Star, travelling now that the Ascoc is over. I guess everybody should love it that he won this race, and he even had to pass cars to earn the good start position.
I do.
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

WOW, way to go Brent Marks!!! Congrats on the biggest win of your career!! Extremely happy to see a team like yours win this thing!! Sure would love to see you stay home and run locally again next year. But if not at least you are not a porch runner!!

Uhhhh no. He is the current Outlaw who is from Myerstown, Pa and has been on the WoO tour for three or four years now. I love that he won, happy for him and the team.

Well, in 2018 he had three wins in his second year on the road with the WoO. He's struggled this year but he's still out there and it paid off last night.

Zearfoss? Wilson is from OH. Glad to see Marks get a huge win like this. He sure deserves it and probably needed it after a tough season.

Yes Sir Marks making PA POSSE Proud. So happy to see a smaller team win the Big Money at a track where he grew up watching Sprint Cars. Congrats Brent you won the big prize in Posse land.

Marks isn't Posse anymore, but he is from PA and just like when Larson or Sweet win and the CA fans are proud, the people in PA have every right to brag that one of their guys picked up the biggest win of the season in PA. It's fortunate he did because the rest of the PA guys didn't look very good. It's nice to see Marks get the win, but I'd love to see him come off the road and run locally, or at worst ASCOC. We could use another extremely solid team in Central PA running the Grove and big money shows again. We've lost a lot of teams over the past few years and it has definitely hurt the quality of racing.

We need to start using the term "Posse Alumnus"
Thats the only way to get around Catch 22: "Posse guys never leave the porch".... "when they go Outlaw, they're no longer Posse"

I think it just works to have Posse (local guys who race local here and defend the "home turf" when the touring series come in) and PA guys (like Shaffer, Marks, Schuchart, Allen, etc.) who are out on the road. Not Posse, but if they win its a PA win just like Sweet or Larson are a CA win.

I've never understood tribalism. Does everybody in North Dakota get excited when Schatz wins? Come to think of it, maybe those people in western ND that are shoveling out of 12"+ of snow today need something to cheer about.

Being born on the correct side of an invisible line makes you better than others. I was born in Indiana, PA. Grew up watching races at Marion Center, Bedford, Lernerville.... Not sure if I was born on the correct side.

I was born in Maine and never lived in PA until I was 25 (6 years ago), I think it's just a matter of rooting for your local drivers, not so much about tribalism. I do have friends in North Dakota (where I went to college) that are big time Schatz fans and always mess with me whenever he wins in PA. It's just like all sports where people cheer for the local team.
